Glad you got the zombie thing figured out.

Looks like the bouncing ball fungi (I can't remember their name) in Temple level 4 don't draw from the protos.tab. Same with the Air Elementals and Ildriss in the Air Node. (Not sure about the others elemental-creatures in the Air Node, I didn't score criticals or sneak attacks on any of them. The Vrock Guardian was fine, though.)

More things for my list. Try to get the name of the bouncy ball fungus things for me. Check your "Creatures Killed" section.

Terjon is done with no problems. He turns away from the door and takes a few steps before starting to cast his buffs, but I don't see that as a problem. Calmert is being difficult, since he is a vendor. But I might have a way to work with that, thanks to Darmagon and his wonderful obj_f list.

EDIT: Also thanks to Darmagons wonderful obj_f list, I now have a way to have a familiars owner-level-dependant natural armor bonus show up as a natural armor bonus in the AC breakdown window. No such luck yet with the To Hit bonus though.

@ Kalshane, While trying out the updated protos.tab I uploaded the other day i noticed a strange thing: you altered the familiars creature type from animal to magical beast (I know it's correct in the rulebooks) but now, while I have the familiar summoned, I get the "Ooh, there's a monster behind you response from the traders!

Will do. Sorry, I guess I was brain dead last night.

I did? I don't seem recall doing that.

    Let me check my notes.

Here's my final 4.0.1 + Kalshane's protos.tab files. Corrected the issue I mentioned above, and removed the awesome skill bonuses from the Sorcerers helm (sorry Cujo, I think you made those changes, but as the helm is available from the shop map, and doesn't cost much, it shouldn't have a huge impact on the game).

How about making a new magic item in the game, the Cujosorc Helm, with Cujo's added skill bonuses?

Here is what is probably a stupid question. Who will compile Allyx's protos fixes on top of Kalshane's protos.tab file?

Hey, Allyx. I double-checked my stuff and the familiar animals are only listed as objects in the protos.tab I had, so I couldn't have changed the summonable ones into magical beasts. Someone else must have.

CB- The bouncy ball fungi are Ascomids.

That was me, Allyx. It is most likely that way in the 4.0.1 patch as well.

Thanks Kalshane. They're on my list now.

Got a few more for your list. From the Water Node:

    Large Water Elemental
    Vodyanoi
    Kapoacinth
    Ice Lizard

I can't tell if the Hezrou Guardian pulls from the protos or not. All the stats that I could see from the roll window seemed to be right, but his SR was 17. Weird thing is both my protos.tab and the Co8 one had his SR set at the correct amount of 19. Not sure what's going on there.

Speaking of the Hezrou Guardian, he does still risk sickening himself and his stench still forces a save every round you're inside it. Both of these are wrong.

BTW, having fought both in their native environment, I think the "Ice Tyrant" is the way to go. The "true" Eye of the Deep just lacks a punch.

So unless anyone else expresses a different preference, I'm prepared to call my protos.tab #2 my "official" version.

Earth Node creatures to add to the list:

Galeb Duhr (just as frustrating as ever)
    Crystal Ooze

Everything else seems to work fine, though I had repeated Node-related lock-ups and finally had one after recruiting Jaer that lasted 20 minutes and I just gave up and shutdown the PC, so I haven't had a chance to check the Glabrezu and Earth Elementals yet. Of course, I hadn't saved so I have to redo the whole node.
