Well, I'm not a 3D pro type of guy, so I wouldn't know, I guess someone else will have to try it out and tell us if it'll do fine in Isometric or not. The thing I'm sure about is that you can definitely render isometric scenes in there, and from what I've heard on the forums anim8or does it quite well. There are also some packages (like terranim8or) available for free that can make terrain etc. - Agetian
I think it might be time that some research be done and a sticky be made that lists the useable softwares with links for generating Mod graphics. This might open the door for other people to get into the modding forum.eace:
May I suggest that this thread, and future map graphic related threads be moved to this forum? The other threads in that forum will also be of use to anyone intending to make maps.
.... I think I found it... Google Sketch up... ***** Free **** and intigrates a isometric camera... started thinking about it and started looking into CAD - Isometric and this poped up... Ignore the wall heights/widths as I was just playing around
There is a program out called Bryce and it really does a good job and you can save the pics that you create as a jpg, or any other file type you want when you save it.
