I hope you had a good day and night.

    Long, long stressful day.

    The full moon is high.

I am going to sleep early (for me).

To all who will sleep tonight (or are already) on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Oblivion is nice sometimes.
And sleep is the best way
    to get there.

    Wake up restored.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and night.

The vampire and I were married tonight on Second Life.

I suppose this sounds pretty silly to a lot of people,
but he and I are happy...more than happy. Elated.

Our wedding combined vampiric and pagan elements,
as suited both of us. My friend, who is a witch in
real life as well as in SL performed the ceremony,
on the roof of my temple, under the full moon, at
midnight. The Queen of my clan was our witness.
The rites united our souls. And as my friend the
witch says, As above, so below.

The rites were beautiful. He put most of it
together. I added some, but not a lot.

We wore black leather pants and simple, but
    elegant, white shirts.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the bright earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep with your love's smile
    in your heart.

    Wake up tomorrow joyfully.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    Thank you, Lady, for
    your blessing!

    G'Night!!

    Congratulations!

Do you know this guy in real life? If you can stand him in a game, perhaps he's worth checking out for real.

Second Life is technically classified as a game, and certainly has game elements to it, but it is more of a social network than a game. Many have found that they bring their issues with them when they come to Second Life, despite their reasons for being there. While it can be a good medium to work on those issues, it can also make them worse. I guess it depends on the person. And one's perspective.

I know a great deal about him.

When we first discussed things, both of us agreed that whatever type of relationship we established, it would not leave Second Life. There are all kinds of fairy tale stories of social network relationships succeeding in real life, but there are as many horror stories, too. We are both happy with things as they are.

I hope you had a good day and night.

    The moon ebbs.

I saw a scrawny little tree frog out the other night on one of the window shutters. It wasn't that warm, though it had been earlier in the day. It
    must have been very hungry.

My cat is shedding all over the house...a sure sign that Spring is coming,
at least here in the South. I'm having a hard time keeping up with his hair.

The buzzards continue to circle, hover and fly, and the woodpeckers flit here and there, probing bark for bugs. Other than that, I haven't seen any birds, nor heard any, not even the great owl that lives in the big trees where I work. They will come.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Go to sleep thinking of the
    new mysteries you will uncover
    tomorrow.

Wake up looking forward to the day.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

Thank you, Lady, for your blessing.

    G'Night!

I hope you had a good and night.

It is warmer and raining, but not hard.

It is good to go to sleep to the sound of the rain.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

As warm as your heart is
    when you drift into sleep,
so will the day be when
    you wake up.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

Thank you, Lady, for your blessing.

I hope you had a good day and the night went well.

It was quiet outside tonight under the old oaks where I work.
I could hear some tree frogs faintly, off in the distance at the
    lake, but that was it.

Earlier, driving to work, I saw a flock of crows pecking away
at the lawn of a church. And right about sundown, while it
was still light enough to see them, a fairly large flock of some
type of brownish birds were flying toward the lake.

So there are birds around, just not in my neighborhood.

I wonder what the exorcist would say about that, what
with all the portent he saw in the birds that were all
    over my yard last spring?

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Keep Spring in your heart
    and your dreams will be
    sweet, your sleep sound,
    and your life can't help
    but go a little better.

    When you wake up
    the next morning, the
    day will look brighter.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    Thank you, Lady, for
    your blessing!

    G'Night!

Lazy day today. 2 naps, even. Sweet.

Other than that, nothing to report.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Drowsy minds make for
    good sleep. Good sleep
    makes waking up the
    next morning, well...
    better.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

I hope you had a good day and a good night.

It was a really tough evening at work. I am glad I
slept as much as I did yesterday, since I didn't get that much
last night. Emotionally, it was very draining.

But work is over now, I am home and going to bed.

Long drive, though. I don't think about work when I
drive home, I've learned how not to do that, but the
    road seemed endless.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Dump the things you can do nothing
about out of your head, all of it, and
think of the night sky, the stars, the
silence and send your mind out there
with them, falling up into sleep.

Wake up tomorrow and start again.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    Thank you, Lady,
    for your blessing.

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and the night is going well.

There is this overpass on the road I travel to and from work.
It goes over the interstate, and since it is an old road, it is
very narrow. It also rises abruptly on both sides. You can tell,
at night, when another vehicle is coming, but not what lane it
    is in.

I keep having this vision of a car coming full speed over the
overpass, in my lane and hitting me head on. It is so vivid
that I would take another way to work if I could.

So when I see lights coming up it, I hold my breath until I
can see what lane the car is in.

It is stupid. I couldn't do anything about it, even it if
    happened, anyway.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep warm, sleep safe,
    sleep soundly. Dream
    sweet as melted chocolate.

    Wake up tomorrow and
    get some things done.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night.

Not a whole lot going on in my world but housework.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

Fall into sleep and dream sweet.

Wake up to a new day.

I hope you had a good day and night.

Superbowl Sunday...I wonder how many of
    us watched it?

Cold tonight, but the rain quit. At least we
rarely get snow this far south. I should
remember that when I start complaining
    about the heat this summer.

Somehow a myth got started that there
is more domestic violence on Superbowl
Sunday. Not true. The available figures
do not verify that urban legend. It's just
    another Sunday.

To all who sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

    Sleep tight and warm and
    safe, wrapped around in a
    shield of love.

Wake up to a bright day.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.l

    G'Night.

I hope you had a good day and the night went/goes well.

I heard 2 owls hooting at each other tonight when I was
outside where I work. So Spring is on it's way.

People who have gardens are pulling up the early
    spring carrots and green onions.

So those of you buried in snow can take heart
that Spring is working it's way north, slowly but
    surely.

The migrating birds will be here soon.

The road home from work was dark and I
seemed to be the only one on it. The clouds
overhead that dumped rain today muffled
the light and sound...no stars, no moon.

To all who will sleep tonight on this side of the earth,

    The Nightly Mission:

Quiet is the night, dark and
    soothing. Let it gather you
into its great arms and take you
    down into sleep.

Wake up tomorrow in the light.

    May the Lady smile
    on you and me too.

    G'Night!

I'll believe that when I feel (not so much see) it! :poke:

Now, everything's white, again. And quite windy. But not too cold. Yet.

I'm totally cool with the winter we got. I'm also cool with our weatherman predicting that we were going to get hit with a fist of god snowstorm. He was half right. Minnesota didn't get hit but the east coast sure did get spanked, lol. 48 inches plus. Just...wow, lol.

Let them feel the wrath of constantly shoveling out your sidewalks and driveway only to have the snowplows come and snowbank you back in, lol.
