Hey congradulations big guy now we can stop worrying about you.

Well stop worrying about your employment status at least.

Maybe you can take your skunk run him through the press a few times and turn him into a door mat.

I still say the skunk'd win! :poke:

Congrats indeed Necro!! Welcome back to the working class.

You did manage to pull off one helluva feat, btw. Very hard finding a new job when you quit the last one.

Lol. You think that's something, this is the 3rd time I've walked out on a job without notice in the last 20-23 years! The employers love the enfant terrible, bad boy, rebel without a cause, carefree attitude.

My morals and ethics are stronger than their brainwashing techniques!

My job starts tomorrow after a 5 month soul searching sabbatical. It's going to suck. I wish there was no such thing as money and everybody had to provide for themselves instead of everyone having to make 10% of the population rich beyond measure while the rest starve. I think we need a french revolution here in the US. Drag all of the corporate and political bastards out of their offices and guillotine them in town square.

You're kinda forgetting, a revolution takes out the courts. Otherwise, they remain ;)

Fascinating idea, revolution. During the recent 4th July celebrations mentioned here, I thought about what an inspiration the American revolution must be to insurgencies everywhere. Lenin too, for that matter - do a revolution right, become a superpower. I suggested revolution to a free-thinking friend some years back and he said, "for what? Higher dole payments? People already have everything!" But then I do live in the lucky country...

    Re: Work/job thread....

My motivation for creating a revolution is the exact opposite of wanting more. I want less, for everyone, and for everyone to be equal in all aspects. Life was so much better without stuff, so much simpler. It's only the jackasses that want more than everybody else that cause the structure to collapse. These are the ones that need to be revolted upon, dragged through the streets to the pillory and horsewhipped until all outer layer of skin is gone.

Also, today was my first day on the job after 5 months and it was absolutely brutal. I'm a press operator for Hallmark, which means I feed a machine all day long with greeting cards. If that's not bad enough, starting next monday, we are all required to work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day for the !@#$%^& holidays. I'm going to be on my feet a total of about 14 hours a day for 3 months. I wanted to lose weight but not like this! I just wanted to say that I want to lose weight and not really do anything about it, but that plan is shot all to hell now. Today, the only time I wasn't sweating like a slave was for the last 20 minutes of lunch, which I don't eat but smoke like a chimney. My feet are worn down to nubs and my back is buckling under the stress. I am the most pitiable thing on earth tonight. Weep for me, I don't have the energy.

    Wait a bit.
In Russia it is allowed to work only 40 hours per week, beyond that is restricted.
How is that you have to work so much in your civilized state?
