Well, look at the 'how to make a map' thread (on top of the maps thread pile) and grab the map discombobulator (I can send u a copy if u need it). Then learn all about mobs. Then teach us all about mobs. 8^D
More power to you, Allyx! :doublethu By the way, I think masterwork shuriken should cost 7 gp (don't they count as ammunition)?
Yes, both.. they are used like throwing weapons but sold as ammunitions. And I think they are one of the most horrible weapons ever in D&D.
I changed the cost in protos to 7gp, I have just made the changes in brother smyths dialogue file, I'll re-upload it now. Posted it here http://http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?p=13596#post13596
Re: Wishlist - Create Golems Would be interesting to see a mod that allows players to obtain different golem manuals to create various types of golems. Also, I would love to see some prestige classes added to the game, especially, the blackguard and assassin classes. These classes would really make an evil-aligned party really evil. The blackguard should be easy to mod, since it's the parallel-universe version of the paladin.
I'de love to see someone add the new core classes that the complete series books added to the PNP game. And if anyone needs any info from books, i have a whole hell of alot of them, i may not be a modder but i'm willing to help out anyone who needs info. Especially if they are willing to try and add some new class options.
a bit too much for ToEE? better yet let's make a new game I recall a bunch of Twinsen fans made a new game outta it. we could do the same with ToEE and the name is not a problem either(Circle of Eight...duh)
I like your idea, Temple of Elemental Evil 2, The Circle of Eight I was talking to one of my mates about that yesterday.
Just noticed this post (it's old, I know, but I think that I still have to make a clarification here): A map discombobulator is outdated. Use ToEEWB instead, it has a lot of support for creating new areas. Actually, if you take some time and trouble, you can create an all-new area using ToEEWB, with completely new 2D graphics (with impassable areas, water, and everything), with new creatures, etc. etc. etc. And it has a very extensive MOB support, too. So, we got this part of the wishlist covered. The part about "teach us all about mobs" would be kind of hard though, since I'm a lazy bum to write an extensive, byte-by-byte thesis paper about how MOBs work (it *is* a complicated format, believe me!), but I don't think you really need to mess with MOBs by hand right now since ToEEWB can do everything (well, almost everything) for you without making you worry about the internal structure of MOB files. - Agetian
The tool's fine, as long as we know how and where to put them in, I don't think we need to know the underlying mechanics :aaaa:
ooh Temple of Elemental Evil 2: The Circle of Eight actions should take place slightly before The Battle of Emirdy Meadows(did i spell it right?) and sorted as evil, neutral and good quests.....just an idea anyway.
