Who is your favorate character in the game?

Fruella is my hero. Big farmgirl, rude, obnoxious, pushy, bossey and with that cleaver. I make her into a devastating 2 weapon fighter. !00+hp damage with 2 criticals with cleavers crafted to +3,holy,flaming, etc. What a sight for a game with 2D animation. No console either.

 

Nope, her sticking to you is a valid tradeoff. She's very strong for a start-game NPC, joining for free and with decent equipment.

 

Troika didn't put a dismissal routine in for Fruella. Fruella is stubborn and hardheaded, part of her persona. The "Till death do us part bit." A dismissal dialogue could be put in her dlg file, but it would be out of place and certainly not offical. Anyway, I like to watch her jump in the air and critical hit those bugbears. She looks cool in blue elven chain and dual cleavers. Hard to come up with a better fighter.

 

What's Rentch's girlfriend's name? I like her. She steals from you. When you talk to her she shows no remorse. When things go loud in the hostel, if she beats you on initiative, she has a pretty mean gank by sneak attacking you and stabbing you in the back.

Now that is a female character that is true to life.

I usually take out Pearl and the other women doing non-lethal damage, but that chick I enjoy taking a swing at with my greatsword.

it is half-anything. It is an Alu-Demon just trying to elude ya with a human face. That thing it's a demon just like Balor, but with less personality...

And I never liked Frank. Scary at first glance, but, again, just a Demon disguised - well, in the case of Frank, that skin problem make him a little less disguised than other demons...

Frank. The name of the demon was Frank, not Fred. Fred is that mindflayer of another game...

Oohlgrist is absolutely the best NPC to add to your party!!! Just watch him fight when he levels up to 20...YIKES!

 

Like the words of General Douglas McArthur, "I HAVE RETURNED!". I have been gone for a few days but i'm back and it's time to continue this thread. Ok there are many npc's posted. So now it's time to discuss them. Lets start with Shiningted's fav Calmert. This thread is now open to all conversation about Calmert.

 

My favorate character is Canon Terjon. hes like, a Catholic. but not as awsome. If there are any non-catholics in here i dont mean to offend.

 

Oohlgrist is very kick ass, plus you line him up with goodies and he's got awesome reach. Cannon fodder that can't die.
In the original module, Fruella is listed as "a catch" mainly cus her birthing hips.
When she dies, she gives one of my favorite lines,
"I never loved you..."
Dang, that sounds like my ex wife that wants a divorce from me... except I"ll spend $50K for almost no good reason other than she's a stubborn bitch.

Oolghrist is cool, but he has one problem.... His WIS is so ridiculously low that he's completely useless against battles with enemies that cast spells with will-save.
