Where exactly does 5.0.1 go?

    After doing all these steps, I'm fairly sure I did this right but...

    You know on Toffee, where it has Temple of Elemental Evil, and Co8-5.0.0? Is there supposed to be a 5.0.1?

    Or rather, how am I absolutely sure that I installed 5.0.1 correctly? Is it supposed to show on the main screen too?

    No - the 5.0.1 stuff patches 5.0.0, it doesn't create a new module.

    Ah okay, so in other words...I won't know if the 5.0.1 patch was actually applied, until I played through the game?

    Basically, yes. The only indication that 5.0.1 is installed correctly will be that the bugs it fixes will be fixed, and any new content it adds will be added.
