    I bent the meaning of what I was after a little, so it would be more "understandable" to an American audience (seeing as how I'm American), but the reference may have been lost in subtlety.

    I was referring to "the dog's bollocks"*, which is British slang for "the best". see here: http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/114500.html


    * (bollock's are testicles, hence "the dog's balls", but I wanted to be slightly less crude than that, so I went with cutesy respelling "bawls")
