    Lol, the scales down thier torso's look similar to tire tracks, like they were ran over by a big truck. :poke:

    Yes. I quite liked the way the red looked on the spider body but it seemed a little over the top applied to the human torso.

    Textures on the yuan-ti look amazing btw. The original green, browny and yellow, and the black and green especially.

    Yeah I just meant for stuff you're re-skinning for pre-existing models.

    It probably is a better idea to stick with the smaller skins. The hardware requirements for this game are amazingly low, and we don't want to change that. It would be nice if we could do a model with 2 skin variants for testing purposes. Say a 128x128 and a 1024x1024 and have someone with an older PC test them to see the difference. If it's not too noticable then at least on creatures you'll never have more than one of on screen at a time it would give you some more flexibility.

    yeah, thats a really good idea for testing the system strain :p

    but for the most part; 256x256 seems perfectly adequate...

    here's the red + normal human (elf? :D) drider :p

    nah... limited budget... did thiis in google sketch. It was supposed to be a shark but it looks more like a bottle nosed dolphin. Although I do have G-Max downloaded... just need to learn how to use it.

    I'll try to write up some basic tutorials (or at least find some existing ones on the net to refer you to :p) to help you and ioannis; and anyone else who's keen.

    Here's my tiger texture... not finished yet, still needs a bit of work :p

    i agree :p but once again, the size/camera angle in game is vastly different so its probably not going to be noticeable :)
