What do you think about the modern game development trends?

Ah ha ha, I can well imagine. Maybe such memories inhibit my ability to C64 again.

I thought all the C64 games were in BASIC. But machine code makes sense. Didn't know that.

I have hope that the cycle will return where games are more than just fancy graphics and sound blastings, and that all parties involved care enough to create quality games.
