weapon to kill zuggtomy (spelling?)

Actually in D&D 3.5 Druids are no longer restricted by their oaths in regard to weapons, only armor. So you can take a druid (of any mythos) and multiclass with for example barbarian or fighter, and gain all martial weapon proficiencies, and make use of them.

 

Like i said, paper/scissors/rock. each class has things that make it better in somethings than the other classes. no class is the master of other classes. Even the kick ass wizards have limitations that a buffed out fighter with the right traits/magic items could never stop.

If clerics with lessor to hit bonuses still could use any weapon AND spells, fighters are toast, every time.

however, most of the weapons that are blunt don't have the critical hit bonuses. that adds up.

I think druids are pretty snazy. I've never thought of using one before playing the TOEE. Even then, it was some of you that tipped me off to them.

I like them, but i like fighters and rogues the best. Bards are also one of my favorites.

It's too bad our letters to atari hasn't got them to open up the 3.5 rules for additional modules associated with TOEE.

i sent in two guys with scather and the other with fragrach. Plus a dude with the frostbane.
it was over in three rounds.

zuggy got chomped up before she could cast displace.

lately i've been using non-buffed fighters. two fighters are way tuff.

plus i'd never turned up the power attacks with scather. just habit.

since you can't miss with scather, the extra damage stacks up quick
