    I'm going to start a new game and do the unthinkable. I'm going to solo war of the golden skull. Oh yeah, babay! That's the good stuff.

    I like it. What class? I find that war cleric is a good class to solo with because you have offensive and healing spells. Spiritual weapon is a savior because it diverts attention. Plus they can wear armor so they can melee a bit.

    Ya, it has to be a cleric for sure for one of the classes. I think maybe a dwarven cleric/specialist wizard of necromancy with Moradin's Soul Hammer. Those high level necromancer spells are the lovin'. Circle of Death, Horrid Wilting, Weird. Or is Weird from the illusion school? Hmm, I hope not. I thought it was necromantic but I need to check again. Easily the best for taking out large groups of stuff, like getting zerged by 100 fire immune dwarves. They don't like necromantic spells at all though.

    I might change my mind about the necromantic thing if Weird is not necromancy. Gotta have Weird.

    I'd say a druid. I can't describe enough how helpful spells like Spike Stones or Entangle are in the dwarven mine encounter.

    Will you be doing anything to have this work for 5.7 or the new release. Was just curious from a newbie standpoint

    It won't be in 5.7 but as a long-term goal, yes we want to have this as part of the official Co8 mod.

    Awww thanks. No one informed me, the creator, that it will eventually make it in. I hope this doesn't mean I need to start debugging things :paranoid: haha

    As I have said before, it would be great if the mod, or parts of the mod, were to become part of the an official Co8 mod release, but I am not expecting it. LittleBigBoy did a great job making the castle, it would be a shame if it did not make it into ToEE somewhere (not necessarily in Hommlet, maybe another town/quest). I know there are a lot of implementation issues with the castle in Hommlet (such as the requirement to teleport out).

    Furthermore, as I have said before, everyone is free to take parts of it and edit them into any new mods they might be suitable for. Consider the mod open source if you want to use any part of it.

    I never had to teleport out of the castle. You just walk normally till you get to "Hommlett territory" and use the worldmap as usual.

    Also, the unavailability of world map near the castle is nothing that can't be hot-fixed buy another street sign with "directions".

    Hi

    I had tried to play this mod, and I can't. I activated CoE 5.5 beta and install this mod (no problem), start a game and head to the temple entering to the secret door in the tower, I killed the mage, and got the skull.

    When I returned to the town and speak to burne, I select the option to patrol the roads, and I appear in the road (i saw the youtube video with the explanation).

    But nothing happens in the road is emply, any idea what happens?

    My party is lvl 6, (I only want to see if the mod works, I focused to get the skull)

    Is the party lvl the problem? is another? I dont recieve any error.
