Yeah, I met someone with those features before, a VERY long time ago, almost another lifetime it seems.

It was a wonderful few hours getting to know her. Until later when I found out she was "severely" unbalanced and violent. Especially to her younger siblings *shudder*. I don't think she could have been considered "clinical" but she definitely needed professional help.

That's where I came up with my rule not to get involved with those crazier than I am. :biggergri

edit: Boy was she stunningly beautiful and intelligent, though. I could've easily (and did, for awhile) gotten lost in those eyes.

 

When I was a teen and starting to date, my mother would casually peruse my dates to make sure that they didn't have black hair and blue eyes. This was...for some unknown reason...one of the biggest 'no-no's' in the book. To this day, it's a mystery.

I wish you could have seen the reaction of MY parents, when my sister (who was a goth) went out with another goth. He came to the house in full costume, makeup, fishnets, noserings, the whole deal.

It's been 10 or 11 years now, my mother and sister have passed on, but my Dad NEVER lets me forget that day! After all, I was the one who introduced the tow of them to each other.

Thankfully it's a long running joke, but back then.... WOW, were they NOT happy!
Especially my mom.

 

Mostly because Mexicans usually have darker skin than the usual North american.
Clear eyes in a dark skin makes for a "striking combination"

The guy on the right is one of the few friends that has clear eyes (not common around here, specially among men), a kind of grey/green, depending the day. Oddly, he's not a popular guy, i mean, with girls. On the other hand, being fugly as i am (the goblin on the middle, yes), i can't complaint

Dad's family have a long tradition of blue eyes, with ocassionally grey eyes (like my grandfather). My mom's family had blue eyes, with ocassionally green, and his mom a kind of "honey" eyes. Everyone had clear eyes...except my mom and dad :smarty:
I guess my sons will have clear eyes...

What do you mean by clear eyes? Dark eyes or light?

Mine are blue, but are dark blue. I know someone who has blue eyes that look like light blue glass. You feel like you can see through them. Is that what you mean?

Blonde hair dyed black is obvious. "Xena, Warrior Princess" didn't look right. Darker hair may or may not look right. Get the advice of a professional.

Blue eyes with no pigment (clear) are kind of dark. if there is some pigment you get colors like pale blue eyes, pale green, grey, etc. Which runs in my father's side. If you look close, you can see it's many colors. Sister 3 has one blue eye and one brown.

Light, like sky colour, or light green.
Basically, colours Over here we are mostly dark eyes, brown being the common, black and sky blue (this last is more common among girls. In the party of the pic all the girls had sky eyes...). Other colours are rare.

Mine are brown, nothing special...except on sunny days, where they look more like ambar with dark borders. I have a black dot on the right one, the only weird detail.

Well, i had an...hum, acquaintance that has blue eyes...not sky, buth light blue, and the borders where very dark blue. Coincidentally, she had black hair, and very dark skin, she was from arabic family, or something like that. :dribble:

Hum, i thought that Xena was actually brunette. I've seen it on other movies, and she's always dark haired..

 

Hmm. I didn't know that. Not being snide here, I really didn't. My eyes are very dark blue. So they are very clear, then?

That must be why they say people with blue eyes should wear sunglasses.

I tried on a wig. Believe me. Black hair is bad, bad, bad on me. Worse yet, my hair doesn't bleach out right. It goes orangy. Then looks lemony. Then it stops. No matter what they do, it won't go lighter than lemon. And to think I was a tow-head, once. Every once in a while, I must forget that (the lemon fright-hair). And try it again. Shudders. I can be really dumb. Like hitting the wall and not turning left dumb.

 

I should see if I can find that picture of me from way back, when I dyed my hair black. :yikes:
