As promised, here is another dialogue file for Spike & Zorn. This one's a bit shorter and simpler - Kenter Nevets, town elder. Also, looks like I already posted Rannos Davl dialogue. See post #46. I'll add Valden the Wainwright to this post in a minute. That will complete the Hommlet alignment matrix. Then . . . ha-ha . . . the possibilities are endless. Gnoll leader from the Moathouse? Tolub? Preston Wertz? Stay tuned.
Spike - Any update on the 'sessions?' Last I recall, you and Zorn (and Lady Zorn?) were planning to enter the studio the day after the IRC meeting. If the Z is still working on the movie that's fine . . . just trying to project a time table for what I can have available for C-Blue by April 25. Thanks. To clarify the current situation - Voice sets already done: Gremag Voice sets 'on order:' Black Jay, Rannos Davl, Kenter Nevets, Valden the Wheel & Wainwright Next projected voice set requests: Barkinar, Falrinth, Pishella (a new rewrite from Ted that Lady Z can do, hopefully.) Barkinar, with his obsessive lusting for Paida the Fig Leaf, should be something Z can really sink his teeth into . . .
Well...I made it to Zorn's, but...Curufin & I did no recording. I don't know whether Zorn's done any since then or not (alone or with the ladies....). I don't think they did any recording that particular day (there was no mention of it during our visit), but I can't say if any has gone on since then or not due to "the movie." I thought they were going to do some while Curufin & I were on the water, as I was told they would be. But, I've not got a definitive answer. I'll e-mail 'im quick-like for the truth. I do know that he is in the final stages of his work for this semester, and it's likely that he's been unable to do any work on this project.
I am still confident all scripts will be recorded for review before the 25th The movie is in final edit, Tuesday was the wrap. End of this week Lady zorn will have german and holland beverages to prep and finish the female lines. Roundcon weekend is 28-30 so i hope to be finished with majority before Rouncon so I can beat the may deadline for most of these voice banks.oop:
Duly noted - thanks for the heads up! btw Zorn, I foresee a rather aggressive character voicing campaign continiung beyond what we have discussed here, if you're game. Of course not all before April 25!
Being 1 generation out of Austria, Lady Zorn had directed me to purchase a case of Grolsh and Spaten to keep her wet for the her spring break. Taint funny, McSpike.:drunk:
Sure, it is...:cool2: It's not as if YOU needed those things to keep her in that particular state in the first place...elvicthr EDIT...You said "taint"...
Uh huh huh, huhhuhhuh, they both said "t'aint". (Looking for Rokugan prestige classes now are we?!) --Blair "The same thing we do EVERY night, Pinky--try to take over the world!"
Ok, here is a modified Pishella file which has been slightly improved (since it now doesn't have to conform to existing mp3s). I've done it up in an easy to read non-modder format for the Family Zorn. Don't stick this in your .dlg folders, folks! EDIT: Slight fiddle, relevant parties re-download if necessary.
Undead female test file...its...uh...well she tried. Time to call in the pros I think. :errf: http://www.yourfilelink.com/get.php?fid=81009
You could probably argue convincingly that I'm no judge of talent, but I think that Clarisse set is damn good. The delivery seems appropriate to me for a being not of this world, and the modulation is great! Gives me the creeps anyway. Unless anybody strenuously objects, I'm going to dice it up and add it to the canon. I expect Ted will be all atwitter with excitement. Edit: Starting 04/17/2006, I'm going to update the first post in this thread with a status of voices "in the can," voices "on order," and voices "projected" for convenience's sake. This first post will also collect any text files for 'unfilled' voices on order.
