Zorn's going to have to recruit more help from some of his local buddies. Me, being a somewhat distant buddy, can't always be counted on. Lots of reasons why; none of them really interesting. End result the same: no new voices. Curufin came home this weekend & we spent the time as the Kap'n suggests. He needs new lodgings before the next phase of edu-ma-cation begins in August. Drove out 2 tanks of gas looking, but we've got a line on something groovy. The pic is 10 minutes from it. It'll be 2 hours from me, 1.5 from Zorn, and probably reeeeeaaallly cut down on us doing many more voices.
Not having the voices available is certainly slowing the project. I need Curufin for at least one brief moment to make one more line of script from Ranos. I can certainly do some more voices myself but I kept holding for my buds to come play...so to speak. I have had fair success in lining up some spare talent. I hope to get the new folk in the chair after wednesday of this week.
I'm trying to work out the details of a trip over there, soon. Curufin's got a message about Davl; I'm still willing to do somebody (I'd like to be the Balor if it's needed as well). The devil...or is that demon?...is in the details. And you know I can do the Balor... PS. Zorn... see that surf? It's perfect for y'alls first 'Yakking experience. Hook up the ladies with some floatation & we're all set. Curufin should be on that island in mid August.
Paida is phonetically pronounced "PAY-DUH". [EDIT] Please note the following. 1. How do you pronounce PAID ? * It is not pronounced "pie-ee-d". 2. How do you pronounce AIDA [ = Abstract Interfaces for Data] ? * It is not pronounced "ie-ee-da". Say the word paid and add pronouncing the letter 'a' after it.
OMG... Pie-eedah?:icon_chuc Pie-eetah? THAT explains a lot...especially why you have to knock her ass out and/or use a spell to get her to leave the Temple...
Could be "Pie-ee-da" or "Pay-ee-da." One thing it is not is "Pay-duh." Have a listen to this mp3 for the answer, Z.
That's exactly how it should sound gaear. Great. Good job. Set Windows Media Player to play > repeat and listen to it 10 times pay-da = pay-duh; paida = payda [EDIT] All I was saying is the 'i' after the 'a' makes it a long 'a', Pai = Pay. The 'i' is not a long 'e' and the 'i', itself, is silent.
Well at least she has a decent amount of experience in that line of work, even though she was charmed at the time
