I'm thinking of a good excuse...

Well, I need Curufin, who said he was gonna come by and do another set. But I guess he thinks Graduating College, partying and getting laid was more important...go figure. My Kenter Nevets recording was heavily flawed, so I needed to redo it. The guy I had doing it said he would be available but now he is selling his house and moving to Oklahoma. Truthfully his chance to make up the recording was today. But I think I was put on a back burner. So, this is an opprtunity for Spike to do him. He had metioned an interest...Spike you want to do Nevets? Otherwise I will get Curufin or I will do it my self.

The child recording is coming along slowly. I am dealing with a lisp. Oh sure its cute but you want to be able to understand it.

My wife wants to do the Phishella voicing, (She did Clarisse). She's been busy because she is a Pricipal of a Middle school two weeks before summer break...(gee that really is a good excuse)

And believe it or not I have been lazy. I am two weeks out of a Gaming Con, one week out of a all day Children's party and now Mother's day...I am clear to do recordings this week and I will do some. I appologize for the delay...I had set such high hopes to be done with the current orders.

I won't be able to do any voicing until next weekend at the earliest. Curufin or you are welcome to voice Nevets.

More good stuff, Zorn. I hate sounding like a broken record, so I'll leave it at that. ;)

Next added to the queue is Deggum, who is Barkinar's partner from the temple. Their dialogues sort of go together.

Also - hate to be a pain, but I'm still short the one Black Jay line I left out of his text file:

"I'm not going to lose any more sleep over it. You'd best do the same."

Could you throw that in next time you fire up the mic? And if Curufin is around, have him put on his Rannos hat one more time, as I left this line out too:

"Gremag was my friend. Killing him was a grave mistake. A mistake that will now cost you your life."

Zorn...this weekend is definetly out...family stuff Sunday; preceeded by an all-nighter the day before {Friday 1900 til Saturday 0700}. I'll be too "hung over" to make it.

    The darkness calls once again...

Ok..Just as soon as I can get Curufin we'll tie up some loose lines and knock out another couple of voices.
The rest of the week will finish up the child dialog.(I hope) And Female apprentis.

It is bad timing or wrong to ask if Zorn the Voice-Over King can do or arrange for dialogue voice-overs concerning
    (1) the gnolls in the Moathouse
    and
    (2) just the first Guard inside the door at the hallway entry to Lareth's Guard area?

I believe voice-overs in these two places would add solid pizzaz to a game.

[EDIT] In a future voice-over dialogues attempt, Brother Smyth the Blacksmith and Ah Fong the Arms Dealer would be nice.
    * If I can be so bold, I would suggest (1) and (2) listed above have more importance in the game for voice-overs. Brother Symth and Ah Fong would just be nice to have done at some future point in time.

Already been mentioned and are in the queue, though not formally ordered yet.

Not really a high priority, though he might sneak in. Seleucas, the ranking officer in Lareth's troops, will take precedence and is already in the queue as well.

Brother Smythe has also already been mentioned and is in the queue. Ah Fong is considered a contender but is not yet in the queue.

Savvy readers discover what the latest news with the voices is by checking the first post in this thread, which gets updated.

My voicing fortay is with weird...so creatures bez no problem.

BUT in the mean time...after countless hours of recording , seriously, and even more hours editing we may have a 7 year old girl (Zornette) voicing the 8 year old Kent.

    Kent Part one

    Kent Part two

Let me know if its what you want other wise I'll need to get a favor cashed in and redo it. Which is not a problem. Its cute.

I love it!! All hail the latest Co8 contributer Zornette!

I actually laughed out loud (at the cuteness  ) of hearing some of those "Ressurecting Lareth the Beautiful will not change his faction with the villagers" type lines, uttered by a seven year old girl.

By the way, I think she sounds just fine for Kent.

    Way to go Zornette!

The Kent wavs are super cool, awesome. The Zornette voice-overs are great, better than any oscar-meyer weiner commercials.
