Comparison of the two maps... (I'm not worried about the cleanup at the moment...) still using paint.net and in the next upgrade they intend to have the brushes that paintshop has http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=6030997 eace: ... also there is ONE difference in the pictures... see if you can find it.
The entrance is coded by toee after the map has been sectored and is coded with a jump point in TOEWBB.....
Figured this would work here... my first attempt at creating a 3d log from complete scratch using paint.net... I need some scraggly trees for edges and profiles...
Yup, thats a nice log. You can always grab a digital camera and just photograph a log? Not as satisfying, but possibly easier. Just take the axes out first
.... yeah... I guess your right.... (grumble-grumble).... oh well I guess next I'll have to make a baseball bat :chairshot
If anyone has homlett recompiled and could send it to me I would appreciate it as I am in the process of cropping all of the houses so they can be used as templates to be skinned as we want on maps.. I tried it in TOEWEB, all others recompile nicely but this one craps out on me...
Beginning attempt at creating a new area using the "Meadows" with houses from Nulb (which still need to be reskinned..)
Looking good Axe. I like the idea of splitting out the buildings that could save a lot of time. Cuculainn.
I'll send you a full size copy of it tomorrow... just imagine it with oak trees mobbed in and waiving in the breeze... Now I just need a reall creative text writer for the mini mod.. any takers can pm me and I will give you the scenario I ran by S.T.
:blahblah: In my never ending quest for FREE software and trying to find something with brushes like photoshops, I finally went through the install process of GIMP... and guess what, it does everything I need (without the high cost) there are programmers out there making new brushes, textures, pallets etc as in photoshop and I hear there is a way to use PS's brushes also... Layout is different than paint.net and I will continue to use it for the more mundane at the moment, but the possibilities are endless with GIMP.:blahblah:
