The next release will probably have some of its files hidden inside, so with a little console work you might get it to work, at least partially. I'm currently struggling with a frustrating engine limitation, and I doubt it'll be released in the December release.
Holy Smite doesn't do fire damage. It does holy damage. Flame Strike is the spell that does a mixture of fire and holy damage. Any effects that interact with fire should have no effect on Holy Smite.
I bow to the Local Rules Geek. Got them mixed up or something - but in that case, Sitra should only script Flame Strike to lose the fire half of it's damage, right?
Doesn't actually do fire damage, so I would say no. I think the easiest way to handle it without having to get into ticky-tack judgement calls would be "does it do fire damage?" If yes, it's blocked. If no, it works fine. If he can do that, yes, that would seem to be the way to go. If he can't split it out like that, making the spell fizzle would probably be the best alternative.
Well, the pool's description says that "fire spells of any sort do not function". Doesn't that imply that flamestrike fizzles completely?
Well, the module is from 1st Ed. In 1st Ed (and 2nd) Flame Strike was completely fire damage. The half holy part got added in 3rd Ed, so ToEE (the module) when it was written didn't have to worry about spells that did mixed damage type. So it would be a DM's judgement call in PNP. That said, making Flame Strike fizzle completely would be within the spirit of the original module. I say go with having it fizzle, since I suspect that requires less work.

It's not "doing" at all. Maybe I'll resume working on it in the holidays and finish it by 2030 Seriously, though, I'm stuck with some technical issues in the Earth and Water Temple fights: 1. Romag and Belsornig just stand there doing nothing. 2. The narrow passages to the Earth Altar area allow the player to engage only some of the critters, while others, again, just stand there. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little I can do about it with scripting. And I don't have time during the week to work on it. I was actually hoping DarkStorm would finish the engine re-creation project so these bugs/shortcomings could be addressed, but alas, 'twas a pipe dream... Edit: Wow *scratches eyes* he's still working on it! There's hope yet!
