Beleive me when I say modding ToEE isn't hard, anyone with half a brain can do it (that doesn't mean you need to get a full frontal labotomy to do it either - though I could name a few people around here who could benefit from that opperation oke: ) all I want is for a handfull of other people with enough balls to pop open a few files (there are plenty of tools around here to make things easy on yourselves) and see what they can do for themselves.
Didn't sound like a challenge, sounds more like a recruitment speech, fact is Co8 wants you, or anyone else that is willing at taking a crack at modding. There are very few active modders and lots of stuff around here that needs to be developed. I came here a couple of months ago and by reading what was available and contacting the modders. I have been able to make a couple of small mods myself. So if you have even the least bit of intrest in modding, go ahead give it a try
Damn fine mods u have done too Ruf, as good as any For any of you folks who have never tried it: OPEN A DLG FILE! NOW!! Go to the folder where you install the Co8 mods, open data, then dlg, and just open any file in there in Notepad. Straightforward! Back up anything u plan on changing, but get in there and FIDDLE! Make the Hommletians BEG to have their stupid quests done. Make Jaroo bark like a dog. Make the Badgers swear like the troopers they are. Its all straightforward.
THE bard, dammit THE bard. Are you cranky? here  that should make you feel better. As for modding, I downloaded the tutorial lastnight (actually early this morning). Will read it later today, then again after that, and maybe one more time just to be sure I haven't missed anything. Any questions, and there will probably be many, will be asked and answered. Then the real adventure will begin
Yay for new blood. Apologies on my absence from the scene, although I was never really in it to begin with.
Wel-l-l-l then, how's about a  on me, and we can just forget the whole hug thing? *in meek and timid voice* Would that good m'lord?
I'm not so sure about the beer thing, either. I wouldn't want to wake up after a few sips with blonde hair & a pony tail.
Hey, Lord_Graywolfe, #17, just checked back in in the other forum after a looong absence. I remember a time when he was lead poster, before Ted really took off. Welcome back, LG!

The young up-and-comer whatsername is making a name for herself. () And Morph continues to be tiresomely longwinded. :blahblah: :mrhappy:
That negative number for Sol has gotta be Spam control being counted in the reverse. :chainsaw: What are the overall figures, eh?
