Zaxis is interesting in that (without the NPCs level as PCs mod) he levels as a fighter. If you could fully control his feat, spell and skill choices, that would be a fairly effective combo. A fighter with Blur and Mirror Image is a tough foe, even more so when he can use scrolls to give himself Divine Power and other Cleric or Wizard buffs.

I rarely use him myself, but I'm thinking of doing a 2 PC 4 NPC party when Shiningted's mod comes out.
