    I have a question for ya guys. This puter that I have only has .Net 1.1 and I went out and downloaded and installed .Net 2, is it safe do get rid of 1.1?

    Leave both 1.1 and 2.0 installed. Both are installed to separate folders and their components are maintained as distinct installed components. Neither version interferes with the other and both are harmless to each other.
