Yep, same here. It's kind of funny, actually, watching you enemies stand around until YOU do something. Since when do monsters have that kind of intelligence and strategy?

Think of the late TV animal actor Bart the Bear sniffing a sleeping camper.

Actually, what would be cool is characters being prone, except for one who randomly got guard duty. I saw this on POR.

Pools of Radiance? Wow, I heard that game was even buggier than the stock ToEE. Could you actually play it?

Well I've heard that about PoR2: Myth Drannor (or whatever it was called) but the original one from the 80s was fabulous :)

    I've played it. Meh!

Timed, turn-based combat in combo with a wonky interface. Your time runs out while you try to cast a spell.

It takes forever to go up a level. And the monsters are kind of out of reach for 1st or 2nd level.

But it IS D&D 3.5. And the mods kinda fix it. (jack up the xp per monster)

wrong! It is 3.0 and Myth Drannor on my old computer took forever to complete movement. I took the turn timer off because it was way too much pressure!

Okay, 3.0. Can't claim to know anything after AD&D (1.0), and not much of that.

Is there a way to take the turn timer off without modding? I didn't notice it.

I slept a lot during movement, too. Are the graphics right on your new computer? I put in a new video card (5500) in my old machine, and the animations were invisible most of the time.

I was reading further down and you mentioned all your characters also had high dex. I'm just guessing here, but it may be that the NPC was incapable of hitting any of your characters and thus didn't even try.

Not that this is possible now, but perhaps you should've resurrected the little dude and asked "what was up with that, fella?" Of course, it'd probably just let you whoop it into extinction again.

Oh well, perhaps ours is not to reason why, ours is to do and cause to die.
