Lest anyone think I am serious, or planning on BG-style vampiric wolves etc, let me assure u i am JOKING.
aper: I need some light fixtures if anyone wants to give it a whirl... lamps etc... a torch wouldn't work sitting on a table... basic 256 color bmp/gif no larger than 64x64 normal tiles are 128 x 128 and are equivalent to 10'
Umm... can't you assign lights in ToEEWB? I thought it's possible. Unless the light comes along with the torches.
 well we can have hellhounds if everyone wants it, but they will look like they are casting 'burning hands'... ('burning paws'?) Has anyone else noticed that Burning Hands isn't in the manual? The engine can only light the 3d models, it does nothing for the 2d painted background. So everything else has to be photoshoped.
Well, added some that were re-textured dogs as part of the expanded summon monsters spells - I coded their breath weapon as a burning hands, but I was never sure if it was working right. (Id did work, but a few times it seemed to fire in odd directions). IIRC, the re-texturing was simply using GIMP to tint the existing texture reddish, and attempting to make the eyes look 'hellish' Charles
I might do a bit more to it (I'm not sure about the upper back). [EDIT] they actually look a lot better in game than this as well, this snap shot has removed quite abit of detail (as you might be able to tell from the real blurry floater text).
Its the standard portrait, surely? But looks damn good. Can we just get a consensus on whether Burning Paws will do for a breath weapon, lest it need fiddling?
actually that fire is the 1d6 of additional fire damage hellhounds do as per the rules. they do have a breath weapon or somehting but I didn't add that.
The hounds look cool, but shouldn't their portraits look a little . . . well . . . redder? :scratchhe
