Ahhh, long-missing modder comes back laden with gifts - I love these moments  The armour looks fabulous, but you are aware VampiricPuppy has done a couple of new wolf textures? Not that more isn't better
i can try making an inventory screen ring, but i also got a small theory about addning textures for rings this bluffy way: make a glove texture that has the exact colour of the hand and find the spot for a finger and try something there... it may be pretty difficult, but it may also be worth a try... @Shiningted: actually the first time i logged in here after the war i was totally surprised to find that many stuff are done, and i haven't had the time to check out most of them yet. man i remember getting the chills when i read somewhere around here something like "the temple is past. long live the keep" i'm not sure if that's it exactly, but that's what i recall. i'll look for these new wolf stuff.
Instead of a ring, Icy edge, I need an amulet (no stones)...a disc shaped diamond encapsulated by adamantium, a diamond disk seated within an adamantium disc, a disc within a disc. It should look like it has a glow about it from sparkling magic runes inscribed along the circumference of the adamantium disc. The adamantium disc should be attached to a mithril chain for it to be worn as a necklace. [EDIT] A boney and fatigued looking, very ancient and somewhat of a dark kind-of-chap will be wearing it and not be fond of parting with it. These numbers are not currently used. protos # 6488 - Rune Inscribed Disc mesh id # 16058 - {16058}{Items\necklace_inscribed_diamonddisc} You can use inventory icon 510.
oh sorry, I thought that "inventory icon 510" was an existing icon not the inventory.mes number you were planing on using.
then i will make an amulet instead. usually i'd get to working on it right away, but several damn urgent matters came up this easter and i have tons of traveling to do from here to the capital and back between official docs renewal, shopping some essentials, a funeral, and an old friend who just arrived from abroad. which means i may spend a few days away from home... so i may not be able to finish this before next week...
i have a necklace/amulet model that can be readily modified to create an image/icon if thats all you need not sure what colour adamantium is meant to be but how about something looking like this? This model can be readily modified for different pendants, materials and so on...
Translated, the runes say, "Go home, your igloo is on fire". The word in the d20 SRD is 'Adamantine'. Wikipedia says of Adamantine: "It is a silky brown form of corundum." Adamantium is mythical, literally just means "something really hard", and occurs in many different millieus - I doubt there is a definitive colour for this non-existant metal. The word does occur in that form in BG, and probably gets a workout in other D&D scenarios.
Adamantine in D&D is a dark grey metal that is refined from two rare ores. Wolverine has an adamantium-coated skeleton and retractable adamantium claws. Oh yah, in the BG D&D computer game, the Drow have some armor made of adamantium.
Icy Edge, we could use your talents in the KotB dev forum. There's a need for new custom portrait art in the game. Ted, does he have the secret handshake to get in?
yeah, i suppose i can help in the kotb thing. i'm more skilled in areas of portraits and textures than most other 2D 'disciplines'.
