This is because a businessman should be able to carry his suitcase full of papers (well, when his business is small yet)...

My Bachelor's Thesis was on Computerized Offices. This was back when computers were either IBM mainframes or unreliable, low capability machines like the Commodore PET. I thought it was necessary, but only if properly planned and security issues were addressed. I got a B because I didn't give a strong recommendation for or against. It wasn't a class, but it wasn't a waste of time.

I took fencing, Principles of PE, aerobics (new word then) and weight training. They were probably the most important life-related courses I took. If you are unhealthy or you die (it starts at age 50 for the out of shape), you aren't able to function well mentally. Your body and mind aren't separate.

On the other hand, most universities have dropped their PE requirements.
