    Okay, so that's it for the Atari Buglist. 500 plus bugs (real or imagined), 225 or so of which may still be out there scurrying around.

    A few notes:

    I'm planning on updating the list with any other info I can gather from that big old Atari thread along the way, so it's by no means final as it currently stands.

    I'd like to see a little more involvement in clarification. This isn't the Kalshane solo tour, featuring special guest appearances by Allyx, Hazelnut and Aeroldoth. All I'm asking is that the community big dogs - those who should be in the know about these things - look the list over and speak up about anything you have knowledge of. Believe me, it won't take you near as long to read it as it took me to move it over here and format it.

    Barring any objection, I'm going to consider Kalshane the final authority on rules related issues here. This means that should he deem a certain bug to be without merit, for example, based on the SRD or whatever, I'm going to mark that bug accordingly without waiting around for any further input. I'd like to be able to assign other Co8ers as final authority on other things as well, such as technical issues, etc., if anyone steps forward.

    The ultimate goal here is to get this list cleaned up and verified, then set priorities for the legitimate remaining bugs, and hopefully get Spellslinger and the rest of the gang from GM to start running them down. I'm reluctant to try to be too much of a general here, so once the refining process is complete, modders will probably just be free to take on whatever they want (assuming they want to take on anything), like we've always done.

    By the rules, a spiritual weapon should be unattackable and only affected by a small selection of spells, which destroy it instantly should they succeed. It also is not considered a creature and cannot gain or grant flanking bonuses, charge, etc.

    In ToEE, Spiritual Weapon functions like a summoned creature and NPCs seem to really hate summoned creatures, as they generally attack them above all other targets.

    Livonya tried to convince the AI to not attack the Spiritual Weapon, but couldn't do so, so instead she gave the Spiritual Weapon hitpoints so the attacks at least wouldn't be in vain and they could eventually kill the weapon.

    To really fix the spell we'd need to somehow make it not count as a creature while still doing all it needs to do (don't ask me how to do that) which would prevent enemies from attacking it and prevent it from getting and granting flanking bonuses.
