    Okay, I've re-rared it and re-uploaded. Try it again.

    Also, I've noticed that downloads from the FTP have been messing up a lot lately. It's not a problem with the files themselves on the FTP, it's a problem with the download. If you have the "unexpected end of archive" error, try re-downloading. That usually works for me.

    About the portraits. After you install the fix, you will need to re-select whatever portrait pack you wish to use (i.e. all portraits).

    I love an easy fix.

    Kalshane, would you mind having a peek at the Dire and Fiendish Dire bats in the protos.tab and see if they are correct? Because I certainly didn't add anything via the mobs, except KOS.

    Krunch - they're not 'greyed-out', they're stone. Sheesh! Rain on the best part of the damn respawn! :p

    If Kobort, Turuko, and Zert are in cohoots with Moathouse guards and are traveling with them in force to the Moathouse, then, they should be emissaries of Lareth and are getting ready for or are coming back from some mission, right? The obvious question is "What is their unstated business?".

    fyi - After the CTD, clearing the map cache and rebooting the computer worked, no more CTD issue.

    That would be because I forgot to add it to the gnolls. Probably all the gnolls in the game. Looks like I need to get back to work.

    Spike, I don't want to get into this with you. PM me with how you want the encounter to run and I will make it happen. Well, within limits. I'm not touching strategy.tab.

    Yes, I apparently forgot to add the check for having dealt with Lareth. I will fix that. Though earlier it was said that the encounter shouldn't take place if the party was third level, but they will be by the time they've dealt with Lareth.

    In other news, I've found a bug with the Extraplaner Chest. If you've found it, please stop using it until I post the fix. Right now, the more you use it, the slower your travel on the world map will be.

    This bug actually effects many of the spells in the game. It has to do with the spells never expiring. A prime example of this is Reincarnation. The spell (or the python execution of the spell) never ends. If you enable console debugging and have Jaroo remove spell permanency, the game will print "Reincarnation OnBeginRound" to the console every round for the rest of the game, because the spell never ends.

    strange thing, my male dwarf fighter can't wear the adamantine breast plate in a few places, the game has now crashed on me while wearing it at the very begining where you by starting equipment (ok so i cheated and consoled myself a "little" cash) and when entering the tower at the moat house. only does this on the dwarf though not on the human pally i had wearing it.

    Thank's ACE, I didn't have time to check last night after all.

    I thought I'd checked the mephit scaling :no: well, I'll have another look at it, unfortunately, I'll be away until sunday evening. You might be right about the owls, eagles, and rocs, I'm not sure there's a suitable model for them, the familiars get away with using vrock models etc. because they're almost too small to notice. When I'll get time, I'll experiment with a harpy with the arm textures alpha'd over and see what that looks like. It might be an idea to leave all owls, eagles and rocs for a later release.

    All I can say is Oops! Sorry :blush: I thought I'd put that in :no:.

    After all recent updates, I'm having problems with DH quests. Anything that needs to be spawned (Frank, spiders) doesn't show up. Also, the left staircase in the Wench basement is inactive. After killing spiders, talking to woodcutter, option 4 How's the family, Tarim shows up twice in the menu.

    All of these are repeatable, even with new games.

    One other piece of weirdness, my Druid's longspear intermittently disappears. She still can fight as if she has it, but the animation doesn't show the spear.

    fyi - My game at start had 7 chars with a total of 16 levels [worked on getting them all to join with the PC at 1st level]. :mrhappy:

    I'll look at these, noticed the Tarim one myself, think I may have inadvertantly added it fixing some minor bugs in the Amii reward thing a while back.

    The staircase has been like that for a while, at least since i started going down there regularly to test my spiders. I'll fix that too ;)

    Are u using the latest spawner script I posted in #75?

    Extremely minor bugs found, some from original TOEE:

    When I loaded a saved game at the shop map at night time while standing next to the Jade Empress, the Jade Empress started talking to me again, but then when I talked back she said "how dare you disturb my sleep". Suggested fix: at nighttime, she shouldn't introduce herself to you. Or, when you load a saved game she shouldn't introduce herself again.

    Typo: talking to Ronald, you say "Fascinating incite into your character". It should say "insight".

    Typo: "Terjon lost and item of great value" - should be "an item". This appears in the logbook description for the "Terjon Searches for a St. Cuthbert Artifact" quest.

    One of the Tips says, "If keep your off hand empty you gain 1.5x your strength bonus to damage with any weapon in your primary hand". Despite being ungrammitical ("If keep"), it sounds misleading. Does this work with a negative strength bonus? Also this won't work with a dagger or bow. Maybe it should say "When wielding a melee weapon in both hands, you can gain 1.5x your strength bonus to damage".

    P.S. Fantastic work guys. P.P.S. I thought Ronald was cool, but he insulted my orc barbarian so I ganked him in the church basement.

    Well then, Ron works :) he's not a fan of Orcs for some reason or other.

    I'll do these typos, guys.

    Btw, got my 3rd lvl party's bottom roundly spanked by the Moutahouse exit encounter. I went in pretty much fully healed but low on spells, as u might expect.I'd change one of the crossbowmen to a non-mage sniper (having them all standing there sweating on a spell is a bit, well, not just hard, but weird). Otherwise i'd leave it as it is :)

    The dialogue is simply masterful. :notworthy

    And you cut off the part of my post where I said that you did was the exception that would work. Most people aren't going to be playing with a party of 7, including Elmo, let alone most of them being NPCs and thus having a few levels under their belts to begin with.

    Yah, I was completely fortunate in my party making decision. It was pure luck. *grin*

    IMO - As far as your wizard being a pin cushion in the Moathouse exit ambush and ensuing fight, try changing the party formation [in Hommlet] in a save from before the battle and see where the wizard changes position. When you find a good change, go to a save from before using the Moathouse exit while at the Moathouse and change the party formation, accordingly. Use the secret exit, see what happens and if that helps.

    If no one minds, here is a fix for Drunk Elmo's dialogue that adds an mp3 for his line before you decide if you want him drunk or sober. This way we avoid that dreaded moment of silence that betrays the presence of a mod.

    Just unzip into your ToEE root directory and overwrite.

    [EDIT by Cerulean the Blue] This is included in the Cumulative Fixes.
