Yes. If you attack her or the merchants on the Shop Map, she undergoes a transformation (loses her dress and grows wings and horns) and kicks your butt. That's the way I wrote it. A woman in a full black dress wielding a greatsword just didn't have the impact I was looking for.

Though, if you look closely, she's not really naked. She still has some undergarments on.

    Masterwork items

I have got the masterwork items to respawn in the Blacksmith's inventory once you have done the giant's head quest, so u can buy them like normal gear.

I have moved the masterwork leather items to the leatherworker's inventory, or more specifically, I have given Bing a box, and when you do the Bing quest he will then help the leatherworker make some masterwork items and sell them to you (this was because I just cant get the leatherworker to respawn, and I am not sure if he does).

I planned on putting the wooden items, such as composite bows and darkwood shields, in the cabinet-makers' inventory to be available when the deklo quest is done, but I can't get him to respawn either. I think we need to get to the bottom of this: I can't see why some (such as the blacksmith and Calmert) respawn consistently and others (such as Ah Fong and this damn leatherworker whom I have had issues with for a looooooooooong time) won't, and I have approached this problem from every angle I can think of.

Anyways, here is the zip: Bing should work straight-up, the Blacksmith has been tested through the giant's head quest but not if it is installed after the giant's head quest has already been done.: it should work, but I will need some feedback.

And yes, the new inventory DOES respawn.

[EDIT by Cerulean the Blue] This is included in the Cumulative Fixes.

Great news, Ted. While the old inventory hack our predecessors did was great for its time, I always found that interface rather cludgy. Another giant step toward mod-transparency! :mrhappy:

I am new to this thread, but OLD to D&D, and I wanted to thank all of the Co8 people who put the ToEEFE and mod's together. I am completely blown away by all the work that has been (and is being) put into this thing. If you ever need a PM to help with any of this stuff, let me know...

    U GUYS RAWK!!

There is always something to be done around here dogboy and if you want to throw in find and niche and go for.

I must say for a minute there I thought you were ShiningTed in disguise as the topic of dogbodies keeps coming up in conversations with him for some reason;). By the way I meant no offense by comparing you to Ted. Check out the Forum and Ted's Blog(just find one of his posts and click the link) for tutorials on modding or other ways you can lend a hand. Nice dogbody by the way:)

    Re: Masterwork items

    Great stuff.

What about renaming the giant's head quest ("Masterwork items"), since it's not the only one giving you access to masterwork items? And I always thought that particular quest title was overly descriptive (kinda like that hilarious movie title "Snakes on a Plane"). I suggest something like "Head Hunter", or "Head Job"...

    Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread

Why would a druid/blacksmith demand a giant's head before he will sell masterwork items. Does he know there's a hillgiant out in the meadows and he want's it eliminated? Apparently, he wont sell masterwork items unless you're proven worthy? The storyline and logic is a little weak here. The .dlg file could be modified to say something like "There's a hillgiant out in the meadows and if you bring me his head, I'll gladly sell you masterwork items". Just a thought.

    Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread

The Cumulative Fixes in post 4 of this thread have been updated to include:

    - Gaear's latest Dialog Fixes

    - Shiningted's Masterwork Items Fix. NOTE: to get the masterwork items to spawn in Brother Smythe's shop inventory, you must by or sell something first, and then allow 24 hours to pass while on another map.

    - rufnredde's Orc Cave Prespawn

    - My own Hedrack Battle Fix

[EDIT] There was a problem with the CF. If you downloaded it before 6/24/06 at 10:42 PM GMT, please redownload.

The Hedrack battle Fix finally (hopefully) should allow all of Hedrack's dialog to work, including speaking to the correct High Priest when you are escorted to the Greater Temple, and his calling on Iuz. Cuthbert should now appear as he should, and his dialog with Iuz should function (most of the time at least - this bit is still a little touchy) as it should.

If you want to try out the Hedrack Battle Fix without installing the new CF, you can find it below. Remember to delete all the .pyc files in your scr folder before testing.

Re: Punch list for 5.0.0 beta

I just installed the latest fix for 5.0.0 mod
For the Orger Cave prespawn - The cave seem to be empty to me, not too sure what causes that... there were no orc no goblins at all.

    Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread

This is a fix for the ogre cave prespawn that forces the orcs to put away their bows and use the falchions instead. It also uses Kalshane's fixed compliant stats for the orcs. I have also added an icon for the note in the goblin gone fix. Let me know if this works for the weapon problems that where reported.

To use this you must have the latest cumulative fixes installed first then just extract it into the ToEE root diectory.

Be sure to delete any .pyc files in the data\scr directory before starting the game.

Edit - Well now, I hear the monkeys are putting away the bows and going at people bare knuckled. Can't have that so here's one that ought to fix that. I hope- Please feedback with your results as soon as you can, I can't get them to behave badly so the only way I know, what I need to fix is your Feed back - Thanks Everyone-

I also have added a new inventory Icon for the note in the Goblin_Gone Fix in with this, thanks for the fine artwork -Cuchulainn -

Re: Punch list for 5.0.0 beta

At what stage of the game were you in when you went there?

Btw, I moved your post to this thread because the Punch List thread is not for asking for help or posting new bugs.

I started a new game after the patch but the cave was still empty.

    Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread

I agree with you in principle. :p
Again, I agree in principle. Maybe we can make this slightly more logical / fleshed out: just a line or 2 of dlg fiddling. "Well if you are worthy adventurers, why not deal with that giant up in Emridy Meadows?" Or something to that effect.

    Re: Co8 5.0.0 beta 1 thread

Did you delete the .pyc files in the scr folder?

It worked just fine for me from an old (pre-cave-pre-spawn) 5.0.0 save.
