    In Verbobonc, I killed the Prince, the Advisor, and (I think?) the Viscount one at a time. They didn't help each other. You might want to throw some guards in there :)

    .... and then again... these royalty people didn't have many scrupples.... after you report back... have them send you to another room to receive your *Reward* and you can be surprise attacked by assassins (overwhelming for level 9-10) that you have to fight through to get back to the royals for revenge.

    I'm trying to get the Verbonoc mod and I'm in temple level 1 with the merchants but when I enter into dialogue the game CTD's. I have all the cumlative fixes, but I'm not real sure if i've handled them correctly. I could use some help here. Thanx.

    I do not use ToEEFE. I deselected the ToEEFE option when I installed the Co8 5 MOD. I just change the "Co8-5.0.0" folder in Blues fixes to name it "ToEE" and copy-n-paste the entire package to the ToEE game folder. However, you probably use ToEEFE and this information likewise probably does not do you any good.

    [EDIT by Cerulean the Blue] Krunch is talking about the Co8-5.0.0 folder in the modules folder of the Cumulative Fixes.

    More Bugs:

    The Free Elysia quest is set as Accepted, rather than Completed even though I've set her free. I didn't offer to escort her back to Verbebonc because I'd already finished the two main quests there.

    Speaking of the Free Elysia quest, while it was selected, I clicked on the Homlett & Verbebonc tab in my log book and the game CTDed (losing over an hour worth of play. Argh! I was clearing out the 1st floor of the Temple with my entirely too-powerful having already cleared the 3rd floor and completed the Verbebonc quests party. I was having such an easy time of things I hadn't bothered to save.)

    The 3 high muckety mucks in Verbebonc let you tell them the same thing over and over again (you can tell Zook you've killed the drow and report to the viscount about the drow and merchant problems repeatedly [though there is no additional XP award] as well as continually tell the adviser to stop harshing on gnomes.) If there is no additional diaglogue for them, perhaps it should just default to the hello and goodbye options once there's nothing more to say.

    The Earth Temple Guards in the rooms running along the east side of the bone room also favor their daggers over their crossbows. Plus one of them favors their dagger over thier longsword. The crossbowers start off with the crossbows and then switch to the daggers. The longsworder started off with his dagger in hand.

    The gnolls in the room south of the bone room apparently have a different faction from the bugbears and ogres in the room, as they started slugging it out.

    Noticed that myself, not sure how to fix that.
    I seem to recall this always being the case.
    Its just perfect as it is :)

    Looks like part of the MOB fixing might have done something about weapon preference. I can't even remember if I touched those guys. Looks like I have more work cut out for me. Of course, I ran into the same problem with Zert, Turuko and Kobort when putting together the Ambush. I had to resort to taking away their daggers to keep them from using them. Since they are spawned in that encounter, not MOBed in, it couldn't be the MOBs for them.

    In better news, the Ambush is back. The Cumulative Fixes have been updated to include it. Check it out.

    Re: that issue with all the merchant prisoners in the room with Morgan the pirate, this set of files should fix it.

    I never actually coded him to say anything, in fact the only thing the Hextor guys actually do in Verbobonc is... [SEE SPOILER BELOW] ...but it's an area that could be used for future expansions, I had thought about borrowing some of Terjon's dialogue for the chief cleric (offers healing etc...) and (if brad returns, and does the hardcoding) offer fallen paladins the chance to take the blackguard prestige class, requests for atonements however won't be appreciated though.

    More bugs...

    Crippling Strike only does 1 pt of strength damage, not 2 as promised :chainsaw:

    Opportunist is completely useless.

    Opportunist - "This attack counts as the rogue s attack of opportunity". It should say "rogue's". Other descriptions have apostrophes; I'm not sure why this one is wrong.

    Skill Mastery - this seems to do nothing. It's actually grayed out as though you can't select
    it upon reaching 10th level Rogue, but like with most feats, you can still right click on it to select it.

    Upon reaching level 12, a Rogue can select special abilities like Crippling Strike, Slippery Mind, etc. as ordinary feats. They should only be selectable at certain levels.

    Upon reaching enough XP for level 13, no special ability or feat was selctable for my rogue, making leveling up impossible.

    Turuko says, "ask me any question you'd like". The speech says "questions" though.

    Prince Thrommel's Golden Belt says it Needs Identification. It seems to just be non-magical treasure though.

    Request: is there any chance of adding a craftable wand of empowered magic missiles, or a wand of empowered scorching ray? :heart:
