Ugh! Dude, you have my sympathy! Two days? Thats a nightmare! Ummm a bit of lateral thinking though would have saved u all that empirical experimenting. There IS no cure for the CTD atm - thats why he is scripted to disappear before you can kill him. So it doesn't happen. Actually, Cujo did manage to make some headway in that direction by changing the model - namely, he demonstrated it is NOT the model causing the problem, so I might have to make a whole new daemon and try again (i WILL have to, I should say). But I'm afraid that issue is very firmly on the backburner atm.
I'm not sure what rules you want your daemon to follow but if you just copy the quasit and beef it up alittle it should work (I think). make sure you keep the new model
Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I had to ask, since I just spent over an hour trying to get it to work, hehe. I can get the first part... but how do you get Bertram to chip in? To get the first part you have to have Meleny, Serena and Riana in your party. That's 3. Can't take a 4th NPC... or can you somehow? FTR, disbanding him in that room (so that "he is there", if not in party) and then taking Riana into the group doesn't work. If there's a way to take more than 3 NPC's, I'd be interested in hearing about it, heh. I think it'd be neat to play with a single PC and the best 7 NPC's Sorta like a BG2 game, hehe. Hell, I might have to learn modding ToEE just so I could write up a banter pack for that setup. Qwinn
You just have to modify the maximum number of players in the party in the ToEEFE ( given that you're using the ToEEFE). The default is 5PCs/3NPCs
