The reason he teleports out when injured is because killing him causes a CTD. The teleport thing is a workaround to prevent this.
You did 400hp damage in one round??? Crikey... O and what Cerulean said: its an extension of the whole 'Balor death crash' issue that I seem to get with all the guardians. I didn't use the Balor here - even though his model is perfect - because when he disappears, the fire and smoke stay behind.
I should probably let you answer these questions Ted. It is your mod after all. Sorry for butting in.
well i started off with him at about 100 hp down then piled on the damage with 8 characters. thanks for the quick response.
nothing hapens when i try to enter the house next to the milers, is this house a place i need to visit in the quests?
The millers? As in to the right of the Mill? Seriously? No, there shouldn't even be a door icon there, but funny you should ask as that will be the site of the bonus 'Housewife' if and when the Special Edition gets done.
Did anyone figure out the Ah Fong CTD? I'm having the same problem (Ah Fong in fight posture, CTD). Kinda disappointing, I finally got the $ to purchase his stuff.
The resolution for the Ah Fong CTD was determined by the fabulous mod team here. There's an obscure unusual flag that causes the CTD and needs fixed. The fix will be released as a part of the Co8 4.0.0 MOD official release. And no, they do not know yet, please don't ask, when the new MOD will be officially released. There are things like Terjon's family heirloom which they, hopefully, will get modded for the Co8 4 release.
i see a door there but cant enter yet, but that would explain things, i am still trying to find this mandy i think is her name!!
Suggestion: Read my 14-page walkthrough in a PDF file that ShiningTed included with his ShiningTeds MOD. It is in the parent folder of the program install path.
the exotic concubine ***** [won't say here, you have fun and play it]...what you try and how you handle her is up to you...do a save game before going entering the room where those two are...enjoy
Fixes Ok here are a couple fixes: The 'paida' zip is a file Allyx did for Paida, should stop her attacking you (btw, was she in combat when you Dispelled her?) It goes in the data/rules/scr folder. (Its the same as the one Allyx posted above btw) The 'ah fong' zip is the fixed version of his inventory, put it in Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil\modules\module name\maps\Map-9-Nulb-Interior-Generic-Nulb-4th-fl where module name may be ToEE or Ted's mod or something else depending on how u installed it (with Toffee or not). C-Blue - this is not a new file, u already have it for Co8 4, just never released it as a seperate thing before.
