Re: Latest patch If I have only downloaded your ShiningTeds MOD and your patches [none of Allyx's stuff], all I need to do is to copy your patch files, as are, over what I already have in the game program folder, right? In other words, I do not need to make, add, or change anything extra concerning the Allyx_shop_dll folder and the extra temple.dll file?
lol It probably means time to devote to family and friends at home (not the forum) and give some attention to them he probably has been more recently denying them of while working on the ShiningTed MOD and patches. It was rather funny, though.
However, I do have an idea for a small addon he could use for a next project if he would be interested in implementing something. Grin.
@ krunch -> Redundant means delete it to get rid of unneccessary files, right? (Y/N) = Yes it does, it's all because I had to work around somethings last time so I wouldn't break other stuff, but now I know more (damn technology that I didn't know how to use) so I can make stuff better.
But he USED IT ANYWAY. Now THATS a modder!!! Krunch et al - If you don't have Allyx's shop map, then just install the patch and ignore the Allyx_shop_map folder. Borsook - there will almost certainly be one more patch, because i thought of a bunch of new stuff to do. But yes my new project can't be put off forever.

okay here's what i did in the order it was done. toee patch 1 ,patch 2,coe304,liv 1.5.1 ted 1.0 cleared art/.../armour black noble villagers.. /shields /robes no garbage in map cache(is that because it was never run???)only folders that should be there installed 1.05 patch installed alyxshop 2 cleared art/armour etc.. again(since kast thing installed was not 1.05 still no garbage in maps added 1.10 still no map garbage,.. moved the a;yxs .mes to rules and the .dll to main install folder... now is this correct??
It looks correct to me. I do not know about Allyx's stuff; I've never installed it. When you start ToEE from a new installation with ShiningTeds MOD 1.0 and his patches, ToEE generates 129 game temp files (the game map cache files). If you exit from ToEE and you clear the map cache and re-start ToEE, ToEE automatically generates another set of the 129 map cache files. So, what you are saying about the map cache is okay. enjoy..
The garbage doesn't appear til it is run - specifically, when the little blue line is almost finished and it says something about 'sectors'. You will notice when running the game it will linger there longer if you have cleaned the map cache than if u haven't, as it has to rebuild the files. Looks fine to me Although you didn't need the 1.0.5 patch, all my patches are cumulative so you only ever need the latest one. But of course it wouldn't have hurt.
Playful NPCs 1.2.0 New patch! That Agetian is a bad influence i tells ya, I no sooner finish the dang thing and I am posting a new patch the next day. :grin: This is numbered 1.2.0 because it is an upgrade of the Playful NPCs patch, adding many more death rattles and some 'going into combat' comments for many of the latter-game charcters (Taki, Darley, Jaer, Wonnilon, Wicked, Morgan etc). Plus some early ones like Zert and Meleny. They are one-offs atm - you hear them once and thats it - but Agetian is in contact with Steve Moret himself to get us some help Cumulative patch as always, just download and install (if you are upgrading from patch 1.0-1.0.4, go up to the last patch and look at the instructions for deleting files.
