She does, in fact, exist elsewhere. Starbuck clobbered one of her recently with a fire extinquisher on Caprica...and anyway, don't you remember...? ...There are many copies. Edit: Just found her correct appelation is "Number Six". I should pay closer attention to things like that, and less to well, you know...Gaear's favorite thingies...! :google:
Boobies? Number 6? We'll be talking 7 of 9 soon, damn that uniform was just painted on!! Well, it would have to come bundled with Co8 and Liv's mod to really work as one install, otherwise you are just putting it over the top of what you have, and can do that easily enough now (just unzip, assuming the Co8 / Liv mod is your default data folder, and then move the Temple.dll and modules folder). But since i want to eventually put the final version of the mod on my other server as well, I won't bundle the Co8 and Liv stuff with it until I hear from Liv she doesn't mind me doing so. And this brings us back to the issue of making one zip or setup.exe that installs Co8 3.0.4 and Liv 1.5.1 as ready-to-go Toffee Pro modules. I think we need Liv's permission to do so, even if it is only a nod she will inevitably give, and until we have her email we just have to wait. I WILL put some more instructions for Toffee Pro installs in my next mod, that HAS to be the final version!!!
I knew someone would call me on this. That's why I said one version. I know she exists elswhere. Starbuck also killed one it the museum on Caprica. Battlestar Galactica is currently my favorite show. I hope the SciFi Network doesn't do to it what they did with Babylon 5 and Farscape.
All you need to do is have a data.desparate_housewives folder (or call it anything you want - that's just what I call it) instead of the data folder, and a folder called desparate_housewives with your modules stuff iand the .dll n it in the modules folder. Add some instructions that Co8 and Liv's need to be installed in the base installation (i.e. not as separate modules) and your good to go. Just zip and upload. When it unzips, everything will be in the right place, and the stuff in data.desparate_housewives and modules/desparate_housewives will override whats in the base install. Oh, and you might want to put a little discription in a discription.txt in with the .dll.
Yeah it will be that easy, but I suspect most of the stuff already on the server percentage-wise is already my mod or voices, those mp3's rack up the mbs soon enough. I am a bit reticent to add another 28Mb upload which is identical except for internal packaging.
Here is some interesting feedback for you concerning your new voices addon and your MOD 1.0, patch 1.0.4, and patch 1.0.5 installed and the imported portraits also reinstalled - no other new, seperate patches installed. The first time a party left Hommlet headed for Nulb, they got an automatic encounter. It was a swamp map with lots of trees. The monster was a spirit just like the one on level 3 of the temple. (no treasure) Note: I checked for Swamp Lotus, nope. Hmm...I quit the game without saving and loaded the game session. I had my party go to Nulb again. This encounter was also automatic. This time I got a different swamp map with 3 giant ticks. Note: I checked for Swamp Lotus, nope. I stayed in the game session and had the party return to Hommlet. I got a prompt asking if I wanted to engage or avoid an encounter with 6 lacedonians. This was a screen map of a field similar to Emridy Meadows. Then, I had the party go one more time to Nulb. I got a prompt asking if I wanted to engage or avoid an encounter with 4 skeletal gnolls. This encounter was a screen map of the river path road. The random encounter update in your mod works very well. Thanks..
<cough> he was CLEARLY talking to me? And the Lotus won't show up if you don't have the quest (I think I have that right) I'd avoid them too, I mean they won the Pelloponesian War.
You need a PR person to handle the spamming for you. Then you could devote more time the important things, like learning how to generate random numbers.
