    Nah thats cool, you changing stuff, but I had a look today and there was other stuff wrong as well so I'll e-mail the new protos to ted. I copyed your idea for the natural armour bonus* think but I'm not sure if I did it right I just got to do a little more tweeking because I just remembed that I didn't fix every thing.

    *what did you enter instead of armor bonus was it amulet of natural armor or something different?

    Cujo can you also detail what you have changed, Allyx is working on his mod and every new proto.tab means he has to adjust, so if you can mention what line numbers got changed it would help.

    18,000 gp (+3), 32,000 gp (+4), 50,000 gp (+5), 720,000 (+6), exactly as if it were an Amulet of Natural Armor or (+6 version) Epic natural armor.

    Cheap Alternative: Since the Celtic can only stack with bracers, rings and shields but not with actual armor, you could make the case that it's only worth 9,000 gp (+3), 16,000 gp (+4), 25,000 gp (+5), 36,000 gp (+6)

    If skill bonuses and penalties even out, I don't think they should change the above progression.

    Something About Mary 2.0

    Something About Mary 2.0 is here right now, so you can stick it right in and see what you think. Its also incorporated in patch 1.0.3 (onwards) further down.

    Now... the raison d'etre behind the whole thing: I am proud to say that I have never been inside a brothel. However, I have every reason to suspect the, ummmm ladies don't stand around inside stark naked.

    Sooooo, I have dressed them up a wee bit... Charlotte has marauder armour, boots, gloves and a spiked chain (as befits her whip-cracking dominatrix persona), Ophelia has a corset (though nothing else) and a load of gold in her pocket, all of which i think befit her station as a madam, and Mary and the twins have long black leather boots and gloves (but nothing else). Riana I didn't add to since it would just become problematic starting equipiment if she signed up, and Jenelda I couldn't be bothereed with :) And I tweaked their .py files so they turn to face you when you speak to them (so if u feel the need, you can walk around them and pose them ;))

    Anyways, have a look and see what you think. For the curious, this will sit on top of any mod, it doesn't require my previous stuff (though if you actually engage Mary's services without my previous stuff, the game may act funny. But why would you?)

    Yeah, I used amulet of natural armor instead of armor bonus. It means the tattoos won't stack with Amulets of Natural Armor, but they will stack with rings of protection and bracers of defense. I also made mine masterwork, so that they can be upgraded. I suppose this is mute though, since you already sent Ted the files. Thanks for that, since my protos has a ton of other changes I don't think he would want.

    Hey Ted, Liv used Map 9 for the house you can buy in Nulb for the Traders Revenge scenario. I notice your new brothel maps are also Map 9. Will this cause a conflict?

    Bluey, there's now two types of tattoos, hey now I think about it both are masterwork but only one has an armour bonus (the magic ones).

    Good point C-Blue, but I suspect every map in Nulb is 'map 9'.

    New patch with Cujo's protos is imminent, within 12 hours or so.

    Ok, 16 hours or so.

    PATCH 1.0.3 is here. All Cujo's gear now works fine, ordinary tattoos from Yvy, magical tattoos from Mother Screng (complete with voices). Various minor changes:

    - Elmo now won't do impersonations of Fruella unless you have /have had her in the party (asking him to do impersonations of someone you have never met was weird).

    - Various fixes to the Sunom quest, now the true neutral path works properly.

    - Added all of the latest (and probably final) Something about Mary. (Give me feedback about that, whether you like it!)

    - Random_encounter.py included (forgot it the first time!) Now the Random encounter should actually occur.

    Now, I got NO response to my question on how much to charge for the magical tattoos. Cujo priced them at 1gp, that struck me as slightly cheap. So, with due consideration for the amulet of natural armour +3, I have decided to charge:

    15 LARGE.

    Thats somewhere between the 9k you would pay for crafting an amulet of natural armour +3 (cheaper, but this saves you on the xp hit of 720) and the 18000 you could expect to pay if you ever found the damn thing for sale. Don't like the price? Hey, flame away! :flamed:

    Download the patch from the link below, unzip to the Atari/Temple of Elemental Evil folder as usual, then grab the new Y'Dey.dlg file a few posts down and stick that in Atari/Temple of E' Evil/data/dlg.

    Was just mucking round doing some thing else and noticed something, Kobort isn't a human, his race is Drow I must've forgotten to change it back after testing so now his skin's white like an elf, oops.

    Hmm. Did clear the map cache, but mother Screng shows no new tatoo related dialogs. Do you need to already have the non-magical tatoos?

    O for the love of.... lemme check (Yvy was in patch 2 btw).

    Cujo - I must have sent you the wrong protos.tab because the one you sent me back didn't have Yvy and CTDed - my bad! So I just copied in all your armour stuff manually (and tested it ;)) Hope thats not a problem.

    Guys, I dunnno what to say - the patch looks fine.

    Cujo: check if you have F:\Program Files\Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil\modules\ToEE\maps\Map-2-Hommlet-Exterior with 9 files. Those are Yvy and the mutts (sorry, no relation ;)) And GO DOWN THERE! Don't just scroll over.

    Old Book: talk to her, ask her about buying stuff, then its about option 3. No you don't need the non-magical ones.

    Old Book, 10 000 apologies but I just realised, Screng has several opening dialogue options for different party alignments and I only put the tattoos in one of them. Here's the new .dlg file (put it in data/dlg), be good enough to check it for me? :wavey:
