Good to hear Ted
A module I'd like to see converted is B5 Horor on the Hill...
Did the Co8 ever done a poll on what module/game poeple would like to see converted to TOEE?
Several, probably Ultimately this sort of thing is more a case of, "I want to spend my time doing XYZ" than, "the world wants XYZ". Or, in the case of KotB (which I doubt anybody actually wanted ) "this is something everyone knows and can contribute to, and we lalready have all the models for (except the beetles)." Currently we seem to be doing IWD, because the maps etc are all done for us - much easier than starting from scratch.
Yeah, you're right
is this true..... ???? BG or IWD mod converts for ToEE...???
to date my all time fav dnd game is ToEE...
having said that you can guess that i also love all that Co8 has done to improve the game.... and the KotB has been a blast to run....
Ted and crew here at Co8 thank you for all efforts...
Well, we're giving it a good try at least, there's a thread in the General Modification forum if you are interested in seeing some of the progress we've made so far.
There's nothing actually playable yet, though you could technically drop the splash screens, Cursors, and Map transition icons into your ToEE or KotB game folders in their proper file paths and use those instead of the standard ones for a more Infinity Engine feel to the game.
How about adding the Psion or Psychic Warrior player class to the game? That would be awesome.
You'll need to look at Temple+ for that, I'm only adding Psionic monsters.
Okay, thanks for the reply.
I hope this thread isn't getting too hijacked by the IWD project. I'm still interested in getting KotB updates.
I know Ted is taking a needed break from KotB development, but I hope it isn't forgotten
Actually, this has me more focussed on KotB than ever, simply because I am enjoying my modding more. Sorry I missed this first time round FDR4PREZ.
I've been quiet for a couple weeks due to a head cold (it's winter down here, remember) but definitely making progress. Fine tuning a final battle.
Great news, a full version of KOTB and hopefully also icewind dale mod in our really cold winter months
Fine tuning is a good thing. When a battle is out of tune it is hard to stay focused
Ooh, which ones?
Also, I haven't played this for a while since I installed about a year ago and got lost in the first area of the game , so I'm a bit out of touch with this project. How high level do you expect the full version to go to for average parties (roughly as much as the original ToEE would be nice), and how much of KotB is currently complete?
