Actually, the news is good for a change I've been getting a lot done, added several new spells lately (about 5) - things the baddies use against you, not core stuff you can cast yourself - and it's coming along nicely. Aiming to have a proper 'where we stand' update before the New Year.
The game tells me that I need three ranks of search to leave the shop map. Does this mean three ranks as paid for by skill points, or a total search skill of three or more? I cannot find the exit using the special search tool, although I have character with a total search of 6 (int bonus + race elf), but no search ranks. At the same time it is telling me wrong alignment, but that I have now sorted out.
Umm, that's wrong party alignment. So yo9u would have needed to start a new game. 6 ranks, trained or not, should do it.

In all honesty I wouldn't wait (damn that is depressing to write, but let's be honest) have a run-through or two now, the update is still a couple of months away because it will need extensive testing. I am working on it though - this is even being posted from my modding laptop (and not my usual internet PC)
I love ToEE and Keep on the Borderlands mod, but am running into a problem after killing the dragon in KoTB. I have killed the dragon twice and both times get this glitch: I can't open the chests or doors anywhere in the game after I kill it. Not in the keep, Thorpe, or the chest in the Refuge. Please help.
To open the chest, it usually means you've taken damage trying to loot the dragon's gall bladder and gone into a pseudo-combat mode. Just hit c (a couple of times if necessary). Not sure why every other door would fail :shrug:
Hi Ted, thanks for the fantastic module, loving the dialog. Tried turning Flay in to the Captain and that backfired hilariously Minor bug with an easy fix: the inner keep guards don't recognise the (real) pass provided by Captain Durrak. In data/dlg/00591InnerKeepGuards.dlg line/node {302} has an 'a' missing from the anyone function.
