No, the mule could definitely fight if cornered. It would kick both back legs and was actually a bit of a lifesaver down in the warrens.
We added a pack horse to Neverwinter Nights 2, (we being me and a few friends). The pack horses had custom packs and everything.
There may be a more in depth update soon-ish that should do much to show off all the work these guys have been doing.
Sorry Ben, there'll be an update from me over the next couple days and an official Co8 position following that.
Not that we all arent demanding or anything, however its past the end of April.. An update on the release maybe? Of course, I am wholeheartedly appreciative that they are making this mod at all out of the goodness of their hearts. I just want it to play already
Guys, I'm a long time lurker who registered just to tell you that I'm looking forward to KoB more than I was for Dark Souls 2 (and it was A LOT). Many times for your unending passion on TOEE, both to Shiningted, Gaer and all of you awesome people. Keep it up, nearly there!
Thanks dude Ok, first sorry for my absence, hardly been online due to RL issues. Second, we've hit a couple of minor technical snags. Think "anything ToEE throws at you on any given day", you know the sort. Good news is we are both fixing them AND catching them before the release. Thirdly, we are also taking this extra time to improve / add some updated stuff. We can do all this simultaneously with the whole group working on one thing Major announcement with less ambiguity as soon as we have knocked all this into shape (probably a couple days from now).
Thanks. Update posts always appreciated. If this doesn't sound unreasonable, can you role in any of the parallel fixes going on in the technical threads (like vampiric touch for example)?
It is something I want to do, to be sure... how soon it happens I can't say, but it's definitely on the agenda.
The Beta version is done! Beta testing is currently underway. How long will this take? Well, the Alpha testing, which covered several months, caught most of the bugs I am sure (and that went for weeks before we found a single quest-related bug, I might add). This is the final round of testing of any and all new content added during that time (which was the point of the long Alpha testing phase). The content - the mod - is finished, it's a final test and bug-fix, and then release. As per previous posts, there WILL be an official Status update in the News forum when the moment is right.
