It's just how I pictured you would make it. "The colour change is spot-on" as Ted might have said, were he not become completely degenerate from his association with us lesser beings.
Upgraded the Gallery to reflect some of the recent stuff going on: http://members.optusnet.com.au/~shiningted/ for anyone who doesn't have this memorised - shame on you!
Alrighty I think I'm done. The third time I went back to check my tweaks on the hovered colour for the text buttons, I finaly noticed the cursor was still a blue gradient. So I went and found it, and discovered there's a dozen variants of the main cursor. I changed all of them, but then noticed the "use potion" cursor was broken. I found that kind of weird since I hadn't touced that one, :anger: so I gave up and went to bed. Checked an old 4.0.0 game this morning and aparently it's always been broken I just never noticed:scratchhe . Anyway I fixed it (typo in the mdf) and put it in the zip. Just extract to your ToEE directory and you're good to go. Let me know if there are any problems. Cuchulainn
Hey Ted That map needs like it could use some clean up and and the buttons need lightening can you send me copies of the files as they currently exist so I can tweak them? looks like its coming along nicely Thanks
I am still very interested. This is a useless post but I don't want to reread the module until I have finished the game at least once because I want to be surprised (although I still remember the plot and major encounters from primary school) when I play as a pc (I was DM who ran it for friends in grade school). You said that you won't take money, so all I will say next in this "useless" post is thanks folk!
Sorry for asking but any ideas when this Mod will enter a beta stage of testing? I will love to help test it but i don't remember seeing a time frame of any sorts. I do know you are hard at 5.0 beta 1 atm and this is slowed down, but i am unsure how long that will be in betas and the work here continue in full. Macer
Here's the latest from Shiningted's blogsite, http://rpg-rant.blogspot.com/: "Monday, June 12, 2006 Woe is Ted part 2 Ok I have an operating XP thing but it is not mine, it is a new install I did on a seperate partition to try to repair my current one (since my 98 OS is of course useless, not being able to even see NTFS. Hwowever the corrupt files are essential ones (obviously) so I can't copy them over since my new XP install says stuff like "sorry, we're using those files you are trying to copy". Well DERRRR! I can't even log into Co8 since I can't get at my passwords, though I did cruise by to look at the KotB forum. Can someone put up a post in the Status Report thread saying, "hey, Ted is absent from the net with computer issues but is working on KotB on a different OS and a release is imminent"? Would really help."
Thanks Danimal! Ok, I'm back and raring to go. A more sensible update tomorrow but for now I am collecting things that have occured in my absence. Sherriff, stuff will b on the way in a couple hours, I tried lightening them myself but no luck, needs more skill
A kwik teaser of Screeg's most recent map and some of Cuchulainn's Hextorite gear (albeit hard to see). This room in NOT in the original module so don't bother hunting And I am rethinking the chain coifs as we speak - but not the magic falchion, that thing looks shweeet! Ooo, the jpg is 99.4kb on the server - I won this round (for a change)!
Ahhh Lord Spike, just the man - you will notice the Hextorite guards on the left have their shields (which, alas, you cannot see) but no weapons - I suspect we've had this discussion before but what sort of weapon would u carry in honour of Hextor?
Blue's right; Hextor has a 6-pointed red arrow symbol...curiously like the one pictured. That other thing is from Elric; but it does look good. I suppose that the 8 pointed one was used 'cause it consists of "red arrows".
