    Well, now you mention it, yes, because while hunting around the internal files to try and get this right (damn alpha b******t! :rant: ) I discovered the exact font (its written in there somewhere). So yeah, as long as I can find that font online (which I almost certainly can) I dare say its very doable.
    Damn straight - C'ARN THE BLUES!!!! Screamed the place down at work Wednesday night - and great to see all the Eels players having huge games, cause our season sure does suck otherwise!

    A shade darker, and that text will match exactly with the "new game", "load game" ect... text, but other that that minor complaint... THAT IS BLOODY BRILLIANT!!! I just had to D/L it to see it in game. :notworthy

    A few more suggestions:

    - Capitalize everything like the ToEE logo.
    - Change the leading so that the lines are very close together, like with ToEE.
    - Make "the" and "on the" smaller than "Keep" and "Borderlands."
    - Situate it like this: smaller "the" on the first line, larger "keep" on the second line, smaller "on the" on the third line, and larger "borderlands" on the fourth line.

    Looking very good. :thumbsup: How about that Co8 Mod Pack version of the original?

    @Allyx If you check the original the title is brighter to stand out more. I took a screen capture and matched the gradient to the original. Can still change it if you want it to match.

    @Gaer They are all caps:scratchhe, the other changes you suggested would be easy enough, but you'll have to talk to Ted. This is his work, I just did the gradient fill and the transparency. Since this is his baby I don't want to change the layout he gave me without talking to him. I'll add the Co8 mod pack line. Any request as to the look. I was picturing fairly small probably in Arial, say solid blue from the middle of the gradient.

    While I think what Cuchulainn has done is damn brilliant (far better than what I could have achieved in twice the time, I might add), I have to admit Gaear's suggestions are spot-on... if we want the title to exactly match the ToEE one. Hmmm... Cuchulainn, how difficult was it matching the colour grading? If it was a pain, I might just leave it there (maybe tighten up the lines a bit, line-and-a-half spacing is an old habit from my thesis years and not really suitable here, my bad). If its not too painful I will start from scratch and do all the lettering and send it over again.

    I guess being a modder and being a perfectionist go hand in hand, we wouldn't spend all this time on it otherwise ;)

    Hey Cuchulainn, could you do one for 5.0.0 too? Just keep the original ToEE title and add a smaller "Co8 Mod Pack v5.0.0" at the bottom. It would be very appreciated.

    @ShiningTed No big deal. The gradient fill only takes a minute. Since you were kind enough to supply me with the font, it's probably just as easy for me to do it. If you have something specific in your head, then by all means do it up and send it my way.

    @Cerulean the Blue Yeah, I'd be happy to. Should I post it here somewhere or just send it to you?

    Cuch, thanks dude :) Ummm just like Gaear said, imitating the ToEE title, and maybe using bold (and all caps, not small caps like i did).

    OK, I can never do anything the simple way. It occured to me that we could vary things a little from one module to the next with colour, while keeping them tied together with style, font, etc. I liked the blue for ToEE but I realy wanted to try something different for KotB, so after wasting 2 hours looking for the tga that makes up the bottom half of the screen (there isn't one), voila.

    I realize there is a good chance no one else will like this, and if it's the will of the community I will of course change it back to the exact same blue gradient as ToEE. So let me know what you think.

    I for one think it is awesome. I wouldn't change a thing. I think the new color is actually an improvement, and suits KotB.

    I second the approval of the new color. Plus, it will make for a good 1st troubleshooting step for the inevitable "I DLed Kep on the Bordrewland and it's not wrking. WTF?" posts. "Is your menu text orange? No? Then you're still in ToEE."

    "I talked to that Kent kid and he didn't mention any Keep". I am actually looking forward to those :)
