Spolier Questions: Livonya's Mod

well Liv ill keep an eye out for the lotus if i run across a new swamp but so far i havent hit any in a random encounter. the timer you mentioned before, i guessing we wont know when it activates, but what happens when it counts down does the girl die? just curious cause then ill know if i hit the map it was on and missed it.
i see someone found lareth finally, dont know why i cant its frustrating as hell. ive even look in the st cuthbert church for him. im almost to the end but thinking about starting over to try it again in case i messed up something.

same with corl since his dad isnt saying anything new i must of missed something and i did install all your black jay fixes.

everything else has gone great though and ill enjoy another start to see if i cant figure out wht im missing

 

yes, you need to confront him one last time to set things in motion... though if you already finished the parts of the game that include the ending then the ending will be missed... just depends where you are at.

Did you talk to the traders about Lareth? Did you ask around town about him? Perhaps look for some rumors...

You need to confront Corl one last time after you chase him out of Black Jay's field...

I am going to do some more work on both of these quests for my 2.0 build... add an alternate ending for the Cure Amii quest for evil parties to opt for, as well as add more clues/reasons to trigger this other Lareth option.

i couldnt talk to the traders. after i sold them the necklace they put the assassin on me and then i killed one and set off the revenge mini quest. i talked to everyone in hommlet including the wandering gaurds and the workers at the castle, not one word about him. if its the traders then i guess i need to wait untill im farther along to take them on but that will make them a very easy fight by that point.

i talked to corl again after he i found him in the field and he told me i couldnt make him talk about it. the next time i came back he was gone and his dad told me he was dead.

the lotus im at a complete lost on. im sure i know what it will look like but it hasnt help. i use the tab key over every inch of the swamps and buildings in or around them since it will highlight any item there. oh well maybe in the next game.

 

I've done the same thing. Both in the only true swamp map and the other two that are watery. No luck here either. I've even gone back several times just in case I missed something.

 

Seriously, you are trying too hard. This is not an active quest. All Jaroo has asked you to do is to keep your eyes open in case you run across it.

Pay attention, but don't go digging under every rock and going over every map with a fine toothed comb.

Re: the electrical trap on the fourth floor

After finishing the third quest for Alrem (the Air High Priest, whichever one he is), I got to go to Hederak to get a quest from him. On my way to do that quest, I hit the Electrical trap from the back side (comming from the Greater Temple). I could not open the dialogue with the control box, could not disarm, nothing. If I hadn't had a teleport spell, I would have been trapped. Upon returning to the greater temple after dealing with Scorrp, the trap was easily disarmed from the correct side.

Basically, Livonya, could you add the control box from the "front" side of the trap to the "Back" side of the trap?

Feldrin

He is the commander of the airtemplemguards and somehow got lost. Liv has a fix for it and it's in Liv1.5.1. He is a high level rogue with lots of magic items. Watch out tho, he has a mean sneak attack and a whole bunch of help.

 

Okay, thanks... this trap was an experiment, and maybe not a great sucess. I will get it fixed.

Lamia figurine??

I keep hearing about a lamia figurine found in Imeryds Run. Is this just part of Livonya's mod or the regular game? I am playing with the recommended mods & patches (Co8 3.04, moebius patch and official patch 2), should I be able to find it??

Easiest way to find it is to tap the Tab key repeatedly, causing it flash.

 

well Liv found lareth now i just have to figure how to get him out lol. im still asking around with the guards in the hope one will help me somehow. cause lareth wont join me. i hope i dont have to kill the guard to get him out if i do he stays there
