    Huh. If Darmagon's inventory fix works without causing undue lag, maybe she should get at least the bracers back. Would toughen the fight up a bit and I don't think anything in the game actually drops Bracers +4.

    So I didn't get a whole lot done today, unfortunately and I'm taking a refresher course in how to swing an actual sword tomorrow night, so I don't know if I'll get anything accomplished then, but I'm still confident this whole thing will be done soonish.

    Sorry Kal, wasn't meaning to imply incompetence on your part. Hmmm. Never did fight Jay to notice what he did or what feats he seemed to have, but from looking at scripts I thought he was set up to dual-wield. Wasn't he the one Livonya jacked the dual-wielding setup from?

    His script is the one that has the basic dual-wielding stuff in it, I'm not sure if Liv pulled it from there or she just decided to make him the default or what. I do know that NPCs won't dual-wield without the TWF feat, and as far I know Jay's never had said feat, so I'm not sure what the full story behind his scripts are.

    And no worries, like I said, I didn't feel maligned, I just thought maybe I'd made a mistake . I know I caught a couple when I went back to document my earlier work and there might be a few I haven't caught.

    @Kalshane>>just to let you know I haven't forgotten about this, I still have the inventory makeover project on the back-burner. As you may or may not know I have been busy with some other stuff (particularly with the eye-candy for my new spells and some others that Gaear has brought to my attention. Along with this has been a deep investigation into the partsys files to find out what is going on there.

    Sorry for the lack of feedback thus far. Umm, I will be away for the weekend, but since my oddysey otherwise is almost complete I will be getting onto this probably late next week, no guarantees. tho'.

    No problem, Dar. I'm still working my way though the fixes anyway. In my documentation I'm leaving notes to myself as to what AC values I'll have to change if the inventory fix doesn't end up working.

    As far as I can tell his script was where Liv hid the dual weilding code. It isn't in Black Jays script in ToEE4.dat, so it does seem like it was all a Liv creation. Liv hid a lot of things in existing scripts.

    Kalshane, do you mind flagging the tattoos as no_drop? They shouldn't be looted or handed around (for obvious reasons) and I already checked with Cujo on this a while back.

    Sure. How many tattoos are there, so I don't miss any? (Well, I guess the better question is, are there any that don't have the word "tattoo" in their description that wouldn't show up if I did a search?)

    I count 4 in the 6300s, and they are the only ones I have heard of.

    6337 is exatly like 6336 except 6337 is natural armour while 6336 is armour enhancement - I figured that while you're wearing tattoos you won't be wearing armour - if you want you can get rid of 6337. and they are super powered atm as well.

    I think the idea of stat boosting came from playing Fable and the social bonuses you got from certain things - it just made sence to me.

    Okay. I finally found some time.

    I have a script that currently removes all weapons, ammo and armor, i.e. everything with proto numbers 4000-6500 (this will have to be tweaked of course - there is a lot of stuff in there we probably don't want to remove).

    I have tested it in the broken tower (applied it to all 18 baddies in the tower), and it works. There is a slight lag when first entering the tower (the screen stays black 3 seconds longer than normal when you enter the map) but nothing too bad, especially considering the script is running on 18 NPCs and looking for 2500 items.

    Considering the fact that we are not going to want to apply this to every critter on a map, I think the lag will be tolerable on larger maps, especially since this script will only run the first time you enter the map.

    Now we just have to get the script that equips from a file working, and we should be good. If we can make it so the script actually pulls from InvenSource.mes, all the better.

    That's great news, CB.

    I'm on the home stretch. Finished up to the end of the S's today.

    ETA: On a side note, I tried to give Darley an AI script in strategy.tab so she'll actually do something other than attack with her dagger if the party tries to fight her and she keeps casting whatever spell is listed first in the script over and over again, regardless of which spell, what the party does or what I tell her to target. I even copied existing spellcaster AIs and just swapped out the spell names and it still does the same thing. Once she runs out of spells of that level, she'll continue to try and cast the non-existant spell, effectively wasting her action. Any ideas what could be going on?

    No one has an ideas about the AI issues?

    In any case, didn't get as much done today as I hoped, but the end is getting nearer and nearer.

    Did you write out a new strategy.tab entry for her? she doesn't have a strategy assigned in my protos.tab, but what I can say is make sure you specify that her spells listed in strategy.tab are the same as the ones listed in the protos.tab, specifically the caster type - I couldn't figure out why my white dragon never casted fog cloud, until I noticed that in protos ot was listed as "domain_special" and in strategy.tab I put it as "class_cleric". She casts it now just fine.
