I gave monster fast healing to one of my uberPCs, I think they did heal faster than normal - so if you hurt but loose to mr fast healing the next party to come though a few days later fights a fully healthy monster

Seriously? If it just ups the amount of damage they heal when they rest, that's some seriously confused coding.

I think I'm in the home stretch for the overhaul, though. I was thinking about it last night and I'm about halfway through the protos.tab, a lot of the stuff that's left are the assorted masterwork items, the potions, scrolls and wands, none of which I'm going to be doing anything to. So that's a huge chunk of stuff I'm not going to have to mess with. I'm thinking I might actually finish before the month is out, barring natural disasters or work shipping me out of town for a week, which is a possibility. Of course, when I started this mess I only thought it would take a couple weeks. Shows what I know.

ION, did we know Iuz has dialogue outside of when Hedrack summons him? During my testing last night I spawned him and he actually had a conversation with my characters before proceeding to kill them. Is there a way to run into him in the game outside of the fight with Hedrack? Or was this one of those things Troika was planning on putting in, but didn't have time to? It's interesting, in any case.

Someone passed a search check! good find dude, but the coding is wrong, it doesnt even check if the group HAS the golden orb.

If no-one else is planning on using Iuz for something though, I might add him to my to do list, I have some idea's I could expand on to add him in to my Verbobonc mod.

It seems a waste to not make use of all that pre-recorded dialogue.:)

I didn't play with it too much, but I did try to Bluff him, which was kind of amusing.

As a deity he plays a role in KotB, but he won't be making a personal appearance, that would be ridiculous with such low level characters.

Which is a pity, of course, if he has recorded dialogue...

May not be a waste if it can be used there for some evil priest or other character...

Okay. Troika was smoking something serious when they adapted the Leucrotta for ToEE. It bears very little resemblance to the original monster ability-wise. Since there are no 3.5 (or even 3.0) stats for them, I'm going to have to up-convert the old stats from my trusty 2nd Edition Monstrous Compendium. I'll leave the extra cleric levels and weird powers on it, as I don't want to significantly change the encounter and I sure as hell don't want to re-configure the AI for the damn things, but the stats should be a little less silly and I'll actually tack a CR rating on them. (Right now the Leucrotta's only CR comes from its cleric levels.) I declare these to be not regular Leucrottas, but Special Freaky Mutant Pious Leucrottasâ„¢

    Ahem.

Anyway. I got a decent amount accomplished for a day in which I actually went to work.

Also, I would like to say whichever modder came up with the idea of giving the Lion-model Lamia the Sword of Omens is a genius.

The Sword of Omens is pure Troika. Too bad it doesn't give the wielder "sight beyond sight."

But did the Lamia used to carry it? I didn't notice it on her corpse my first few times through the game, which is why I figured someone here added it to her inventory at some point. Or was it just originally flagged as no loot?

No kidding. If only Clairevoyance was in ToEE. :)

ETA: Well, crap. St. Cuthbert still shows up during the fight with Iuz after the dialogue, not just when Hedrack summons him. Though I'm sure someone with scripting knowledge could probably fix it if they wished.

Who changed the flametongue into a greatsword? That was an unpleasant surprise as it's generally the only magical longsword I don't sell.:cry:That and the flametongue in the DMG is a longsword. Not that the properties can't be applied to other swords, but the longsword is kind of traditional.:nerd:

Huh. I guess I never really looked.

Would be kind of fun to tack "Use Wand" and Clairevoyance onto that particular sword. Though it might to be too much if it reveals the whole map.

Kal, you may want to revisit Black Jay. You gave him Power Attack as a bonus feat, when you *know* as a fellow 3.5 guru that two-weapon fighters take only the penalty to hit and gain no bonus damage with the off-hand attack. :sweatdrop

Kalshane: To the best of my knowledge, she's had that all along...it's been in all my games since the beginning, pre-co8 add-ons. My first encounter with her gave me a charmed Elmo, and the "Butcher" rep once I did him in in self-defense...being a noob & all, I didn't know about non-lethal combat & had saved past that point. There was no return, either.

Blair: If you've got that sword, must've eaten...her!

I went back and double-checked since I couldn't believe I missed that (In a "D'oh" way, not a "But I'm perfect way":) ), but he's not TWFer. He doesn't have the feats for it, and he uses either his longbow, or a longsword and elven shield in combat.

Huh. I guess I never thought to loot her until recently. Wierd.

She had different treasure in the module...{Bracers of Defense, AC6...+1 Short Sword...Gold Necklace set with 5 gems worth 6000 GP}...if you're interested. Gotta love that sword, though.
