some of my ideas include: ` characters becoming NPCs around the towns ` characters being recruited for future possible high level quests I know i know, probably impossible, but i can ask, hell you could just have new NPCs that show up after retirement with hints in talking to them that they were adventures in a past life!
How about a nice slide show of your party at the welcome wench having a few drinks and being ... heroic.
thats a great idea or maybe new patrons that resemble you, wearing end game items but than they refuse to talk to lowbies because they are retired?
And don't forget the Gold Sundial at the Retirement Party! It could be placed in front of the house in town (maybe an existing house, maybe another is added?) where your retired PC lives...
