Make sure you replace the dll file in the 5.0.0 module and not the root directory. I noticed the scorching ray spell(Wiz/Sor lvl2) is missing from the help menu. Was the spell removed?
You have to extract the archive to a temp directory, then place all the files in the right places. If you misplaced the dll it could be your problem. ;-) Starting at your ToEE root directory (the one with TOEE.exe in it) temple.dll goes in \modules\Co8-5.0.0 gamearea.mes goes in \modules\Co8-5.0.0\mes worldmap_location_names_text.mes goes in \data\mes item_creation.mes goes in \rules That's assuming that you're using Temple of Elemental Evil Frontend, if you're not shame on you. Cuchulainn.
So, apparently I'm a moron and still used to the pre-Front End days when the temple.dll updates were dropped right into the ToEE root directory. So I haven't actually done any testing on the dllfix13 yet. Just started a new game (there goes the 9th level party I thought I was testing it with) and will report any issues I find. Oy.
Erm, shouldn't you have noticed that earlier when nothing was fixed that was supposed to be fixed by v13? Like the dwarf in the web for example. :suprised:
Is this what causes the hobbling of druids who have recently wildshaped, or is that a seperate bug? (IOW is that problem now fixed? If so, you rock on ice. If not, you still rock on ice, just not for that particular reason.)
Wizard specilisation for 3rd level spells appears to be broken. Everytime I exit the spell selection screen, it opens 2 new slots for me. Sleeping makes the extra spells go away but still leaves 2 extra slots. Resting a few times seems to fix it.
I've tried, but cannot reproduce this bug, You may have incorrectly installed the dllfix. The in game help is incomplete, as most of the new spells don't have help options. The description for the scorching ray should read "You may fire one ray, plus one additional ray for every four levels beyond 3rd" so yes you should get another one at 7th level.
Like u can have too many fireballs.... He's done it again. How did we get by without u Spellsaver?
I realize that, but it's not 100% clear to me what it says it fixes, as it pertains to the bug below. -_- A Wildshaped druid's movement rate frequently drops to 5 feet for no good reason. It seemed to be a reasonably well-known problem last time I mentioned. I seem to recall the problem had to do with an incorrect implementation of encumbrance in that situation, which makes me think your changes may have fixed it en pessant, as it were.
