I was playing around with small-sized armors today, and I noticed that there's nothing preventing normal-sized characters from wearing them. Now ideally, small-sized armors can only be worn by small-sized characters. This is because small armor weighs only half as much, but that in turn is balanced by the fact that small characters are supposed to have a carrying capacity of 3/4 of what a medium character has for the same Strength score. Anyway, is it possible to make small armors only wearable by small characters? Otherwise it's kind of exploitable to have your huge half-orc wandering around in "small masterwork full plate" or something . . .
