SOunds like a good idea. Quite easy to do, and would force people to do more crafting if they go specific weapon routes: not just "take WF Greatsword and then wait for the Frostbrand", for instance.

But, it can continuously make you want to gouge your eyes out if you're just waiting for that one awesome weapon that never comes...

The thing is, even if you don't get the one you
want, you can always craft it. ;) That's the beauty
    of ToEE.

Don't realy see the point of disabling the console. We're trying to make the game more balanced for people who DON'T cheat. For those who do, just don't come whining to us. IMeversoHO ;)

heres an idea could you make all the special weapons like frostbrand, scather etc worth alot less when you sell them, later on in the game I think most of the unbalancing wealth comes from these weapons.

A good idea though there's one flaw. The price of enchanting
    those would be much lower.

why would it be, those weapons are specific, they have proto entries contrariwise wepons you craft a based on a masterwork weapon and the cost is for adding the enchncement at the time of crafting

You say that for now and until you need to use the console to fix a problem. Then, you'd be using colorful metaphors and expressions. :p

I've never once used the console, save for the time I brought in a bunch of weapons that you can't get in-game just to see what they can do.

I have used it once, to reroll a character I didn't like.
Couldn't we do something like a command in the front-end
to enable/disable console, at least? :p
