Well, i have two slots avilable for female elves, so it's a good idea. In fact, i have a sketch that would fit perfectly  But the armor isn't looking barbarian, tho (well, for my standards of course) Btw, are you aware that she could be wielding elemental swords? The shortsword with the circle and the longsword with the triangle...There are four elemental weapons...should check for them.(maybe the Hickory needs new weapons :evil_laug ) (check the developer photos thread)
Well, at the site of his creator :mrhappy: : ---www.cglenn.com--- He had the site down for long time...now it seems he got back, but has removed lots of stuff
I must admit, that portraits on ToEE aren't so good, i suppose that he must have been in a real hurry to finish of at time. Some portraits are good, while others are really crappy. But seeing their site (pity, he seem to be tired of ToEe and seeing all the same stuff for a long time, so he removed almost everything) changed my opinion of him. Doing a quick search for the Troikapedia, you can find all the "behind the curtains" work, and there are lots of stuff of him (from pencil sketches for characters, to model's skins), which are awesome. :yikes:
Well I'll admit, I sorta liked the quirkiness of the ToEE portraits (and quirky without being animé which is a plus as animé just doesn`t fit into the D&D universe for me). The portraits from ToEE reminded me somewhat of the older modules from TSR. I also really liked the music of it more than any CRPG before or since. It never got on my nerves when it looped and it was fresh. That said, I have to say the same thing about Half Nights portraits and Gaere`s (sp?) music. Pretty impressive. HK's photos have a nice polish to them. Regarding your main question, Half Knight, I would say I like all you mentioned except the realistic which someone above mentioned should be reserved for lower level common NPCs. Regarding the music for KotB, I was taking a listen to it, got distracted while playing the final battle scene music, went back to work on my computer with it looping and didn't notice it was looping in the background for about an hour. Neither did my girlfriend who usually shouts at me to turn that techno crap off when I'm playing it. It has a sorta techno/electronica backbeet is why I mention that. So basically what I'm getting at is that I think Gaer accomplished what Troika did. Easy to listen to music that also sounds good. BG and NWN music always just got on my nerves.
Glad you liked the portraits I think the same, PC should be more heroic (or fantastic) along with useable NPCs or special charcters. I always feel uncomfortable with Meleny's portrait, or the stupid face of Elmo. One of my favorites NPCs is Furnok, and mainly cos the portrait it's cool, it has a distinctice charcter. And Gaear's music it's AWESOME indeed...but he's too shy to say something (there's a rumor that he is an elf, so maybe he's reclusive instead of shy )
Nah, just stuck up. :bored: Thanks for the compliments, foil. (took a while to find this amongst all the haldir gay porn in Google image search, btw ...)
Gaear, the official pimp of Elvenporn.com :stoned: Which, btw, some time ago had the kindness to post this game ready portrait, of the Elven chick of the tutorial: --- View attachment hotelf.zip ---
Heh, I remember that. Made a pretty bad job of it, with all the tiling on the left side of the big portrait. :thumbsdow

Oh yah, are you or daadamo going to 'fix' and perform your and daadamo's level of artistic and rendering magic to that hotelf portrait and add your new final version of the hotelf product to the new portraits?
