even more funny would be if that happened in a pen and paper adventure and the DM never tells you ,you got Robbed of your prize posetion of a weapon until the last moment, during the battle at hand.

Player "I will use my great hammer of mighty cleave to heave these foes into next week"

DM "No Sorry you can't use that"

Player "why not? why can't I use my hammer WFT? "

DM "um you got robbed last week when you guys was in the Tavern"
