No horse-types of any sort in the game, no horse models, nothing.

The cavalry in the keep are gonna be doing a LOT of walking

Kalshane, that right-click idea sounds good :) And a little thing for Nira sounds good too. What do people think of the idea that Nira would be willing to exchange it for a Ring of Protection, or some other minor peice of magical jewelry?

Perhaps you should provide them with coconut halves...

On that note, here's a preview of KotB's Caves of Chaos (HINT: Select silly game).

Do the Nira thing, or turn it into something magical by giving it powers (like a wand...?). It could do Summon Woodland Creature & Cure Light Wounds; something like that.

As long as it isn't activated by yelling, "Pikachu, I choose you!"

I'm not going to litter the page....

    with yet another question.
    ---
I wanted to know what exactly was the list of finesse weapons: I have my 3.5 PHB so I know some of them but other releases have added to that list. I'm using medium sized characters (human rogue and human rogue/fighter(serena)). This is a restart group. I was wondering if the cutlass or the scimitar were amongst the finesse weapons. My rogue uses a +2 rapier and I've currently got Serena wielding dual +2 daggers until I can come up with a suitable secondary weapon for her. If the cutlass is in the finesse weapons then I will buy a masterwork cutlass for my rogue and give the +2 rapier to Serena. My rogue mainly sticks to archery but I do want her to have good back-up if something gets too close. Serena came with weapon finesse and I'm considering possibly having her go with a dual hand axe combination. Always experimenting.
    ---
Feeling Froggy: For some reason there is a random encounter with 3 giant frogs(toads) two react normally. A third one however located at the back of the group has caused me to abandon this fight twice now. It appears to be caught in some gray zone in the program. It cannot move or attack and it cannot be attacked by anything. When I threw a fireball at them the other two turned into crispy critters but the third one who was right in the middle of the blast was unscathed. It always skips over its turn to move or attack. There is no resolution for this fight other than to reload a previously saved game.
    ---
Although I have a third comment it is better brought up in the modding forums.

Any weapon that's listed as light in your PHB should be finessable for medium-sized characters. In addition, the rapier and spiked chain are finessable.

I believe the cutlass uses the rapier proficiency, so it should likewise be finessable. It basically functions as a rapier with a different graphic.

As for your random encounter problem, it is a known bug; sometimes the monsters are generated outside the navigable edge of the map surface. This means they cannot act and therefore cause combat hangs. IIRC C-Blue had said something about looking at the way the encounters were generated to try and find a fix, and his experience working with that part of the system previously reassures me that it will be solved sooner or later.

    Must... eat... pizza...

Actually, I thought I fixed that map for 4.0.0. This is the first time I have heard of this bug since 4.0.0 was released. I know I don't have that problem anymore, and a quick file compare says that I'm using the stock 4.0.0 files in that reguard.

Are other people having this problem?
