OK, so I lied. I haven't stopped playing gemcraft. I can't. With an addictive personality, most things I like, I like too much and go to excess. Level 64 and rising after I figured out an absolute cookie cutter strategy that works with about 75% of the maps.

What I really need to know now is if there is something I can do to ease the slowy lag that so often accompanies these flash games and anything involving flash really. It's annoying.

Ok, I tried out Gemcraft and stayed up several hours past bed-time saying, "just one more!"

Thankyou for ruining my life

Gemcraft Chapter Zero is what they call an absolute good. I've also taken to playing monsters den and monsters den book of dread. They are ad&d dungeon crawl flash games. They are ok but lean a lot towards world of moneycraft regarding items and talents and whatnot. The game also peters out at about level 10-13. It's an infinite loop dungeon crawl and nothing changes very much after level 13.

I found another insanely great flash game that is even more simple than gemcraft, although there are times when gemcraft is as far as it can be from simple. The game is called Retroshoot 360. It's like the old awesome arcade game Robotron except that you are in a spaceship with !@#$ coming at you from everywhere. The more stuff you kill with your constantly streaming shots, the more energy cubes you pick up from their dead carcass and they power up your gun to make it better automatically so that even more stuff that's tougher and faster can come at you from everywhere.

Freaking awesome! Gemcraft Chapter Zero is a soundly beaten game. Took me 134 levels to do it.

This game proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that the simplest games are more fun (to me and many others I know), have more action and are more challenging than any games that require a $900 video card. Flash games rule the cosmos forever! Id they're good, like Gemcraft and a few others like Retroshoot 360 and Wizard 101 and on and on and on...

    And they are free.

And at the end of it, it says that there are 2 more sequels of it coming out. Giggity.
